Dude, i should just drop out of college and watch your videos full time. Every day I get home from a lecture and google what I can´t understand, ITS ALWAYS YOU that perfectly explain it. Thanks a lot Caleb. You got a new sub from Norway!
He made it easy to understand surrogate keys and natural keys in less than ten seconds and helped me understand entity integrity. This man is an excellent teacher.
I was worried the video was too short but it turns out I've been overthinking entity integrity this whole time, and he just perfectly summarized everything. Solid video
When you started this you said this was an updated series to the same content from years ago .... I have to ask, how old were you on the first set? 9? LOl, just giving you a hard time. I'm an old geezer OF 65 YEARS. I needed an application, I scratched it out on paper, then started looking for someone to build it. The first guys i talked to said "Ya, we can do that for you, send us 25 grand and we'll get started". I bet you can guess what I said after that, (actually before the word "that"). It took me a total of 8 years but I am using what I taught myself off the net. It's written in C# and uses a MySql database. Why am I here? LOL, after all this time I never tried to delete any real content. Yesterday, I discovered I can't delete ANY of it. Now I'm back in school to correct my database structure and need to learn how to apply the 4 big ones, NO ACTION, CASCADE, SET NULL and RESTRICT. When are you going to put out a video on this topic? Do a quick one on this topic and I will Join. Thanks for your hard work Caleb. PS, have you thought of creating a second channel somewhere else like Odysee or BitChute? I really avoid YouTub like the plague and hate coming here.
this would be better without the constant breakaways to acknowledge the dog. i love dogs and everything, but it is kinda distracting and annoying to break the flow of the delivery away from the subject over and over again.

great explanation thanks so much!
is this a strict rule? Because I don't see why an associative entity would need this
Caleb you're an absolute legend
Does it matter if multiple primary keys in different tables have duplicated values (ex:1,2,3)?
Thanks for the great videos. BIG help for me in class.
nice video. Thank you.
You are #1 Caleb
thank you so much
