- Mauricio Umansky claimed that Kyle Richards encouraged him to date other people when she initiated their separation.
“I had an amazing 26 years with your mom -- an amazing 26 years. I wanted to do everything possible to just save it,” Umansky told three of his and Richards’ daughters in a preview clip for Season 2 of Netflix’s “Buying Beverly Hills” released Tuesday.
Umansky explained to a tearful Farrah, Alexia and Sophia Umansky that their mom came to him and told him, “‘I think I need space.'”

This feels like a very heavy thing to be telling your kids. You can tell them you're separated without telling them you're DATING. That just felt like a confession instead of honesty
One of those things that in the moment I’m sure it’s foggy on how to approach. But I would have to agree w ya. It’s an unfortunate reality for sure. Esp for the children
Most likely they were told because Kyle and Mo are semi famous and there would be photos so he is explaining before it’s out there for the world.
Exactly he’s a fool he is just so eager to be with women without having to hide it as he’s always done. He has always cheated on his wife and she finally got a lick back and gave up. She finally said do what you want date who you want I don’t care anymore she knows he’ll never be faithful. In one episode he says he’s glad it’s not him who cheated and Kyle says ya for once. That tells me that woman has put up with a lot of infedelity which causes depression. She should have got rid of him long ago kids or not I would have bailed early.
This might’ve right before (or after) pics of him w other girls were out. Maybe he wanted the daughters to hear it from him first?

Same. I don't think she was entirely honest with her cast. I can see why in retrospect, but honestly, it's kind of unfair to mask something like that when everyone has known about it already for so long. Lying on reality tv feels pointless, because the truth always comes out

When she said sarcastically something to the effect "at least this time I'm the one having an affair" he looked quite surprised. Like he had not. She didn't even notice his expression. She has implied all season that she was unhappy with him, but very vague about. It's their personal business but she made it public.
I've also noticed she can be very aggressive such as when she went to Lisa VanderPump's home & relentless attacked her just because she didn't believe her about an issue, to the point Lisa's husband had to order her to leave! It was unnecessary & so hostile.
That statement tells me he’s been caught cheating many times. That hostility in a woman can be from being cheated on all the time and unhappy. If that’s the case she should have left him a long time ago.
She didn’t leave Mauricio because he’s the one who makes the money she’s only spends
I used to watch these miserable, self absorbed Women .... Until I realized that they do this to themselves .. And this shows "That if you are a miserable person , and hang out with other miserable

I cringed at the finale show when Kyle said we would be separated under the same roof n Mauricio said uhh no basically that's not happening. He cheated n she couldn't get over it. She was asked why this n she said it without saying it.

Idk it really sounds like Kyle spent her entire life from 17 up until this point as a wife to a man that genuinely loves her. Kyle has said several times that infidelity isn’t the reason but she has said that when she started making money on her own it created a power struggle at times but no fights or arguments. I believe Kyle just wants to explore life outside of being a wife & mother
I don't know about that. Kyle is showing a lot of resentment and disdain towards Mauricio. The kind that comes from years of being hurt by him. I think he cheated on her for the last time. She had enough
Well... it's 4 months later since this video, and there are pics circulating right now of him greeting a woman with a hug and a kiss on the mouth at the airport. I guess it wasn't fake. I really thought it was just a storyline.

Liar she doesn’t want you to date she doesn’t want to date you’ve just cheated so much. She’s finally realized it’s pointless to hang on anymore and said go date we are separated whatever. I know what it means to get to this point this woman like many women hung on for the sake of family/kids. I wouldn’t have and didn’t but a lot of women do I would never stand for cheating even once. That whole conversation was for him so that when they see him with new women they won’t be surprised. 🙄

@o8byrner08 really? He swam with the girls and took Portia to lunch on the show. I always got the feeling he was great to his daughters and now employs a few at the agency. My dad worked and my mother stayed home. Men seldom have the same amount of time with the kids. I saw nothing but love in Mauricio's eyes for Kyle and the girls.

Well I think many women in general haven’t found what we are looking for. Relationships or money are not always fulfilling. Something will always be missing. It’s a depression state that is overwhelming but you wake up with a smile and put one foot in front of the other. I feel her.

It’s over the marriage is broken. Unfortunately I’m going through the same similar thing. Except my wife of 20 years said she wasn’t happy and left. With the cloths on her back that was it. She’s been gone for 18 months. Thankfully we have no children. I can only imagine what he’s going through. It’s a shame what Kyle has done to her family.

Kyle said on tv she asked for the separation. I forgot the guys name that has the show. She also says they are friendly, but seeing him close, after he had lunch with his partner from Dancing With The Stars, it hurt. It looks to her like he's dating her. She admittedly is very close and affectionate with some woman named Mo.
He just cheated on and on and on and expect the women to be together for the sake of family, fame and name. But there is a limit. This time he must has crossed to far for her to feel lost and recover with her messy Morgan for passing period and giving herself time to accept that she has to let go… this man didn’t expected her to had enough after growing old together. He thought she would accept him with love

I don’t think any of us are in a position to judge. The children shouldn’t ever have any input in what’s going on with their parents. It was nice that he sat down with them and explained the best way he knew how. I’m sure it wasn’t easy. I hope they all find some peace.

Caught up in success, the glitz and the glam, and its blinding their view of the beautiful marriage and family they had. So sad to watch. I think he really did cheat, I just want to shake him and say how could you? You have a beautiful wife, she is the mother of your children, you have a beautiful life with her, why mess that up for 30 minutes of pleasure? I don’t get it! Some people are not very smart, and he’ll end up alone with regret. His future is Arnold’s future, mostly alone on a farm feeding animals at 5am.
I have a very strong feeling Kyle is going to regret this decision. You can’t go back, it won’t be the same.
