I appreciated this one. It’s good to hear a prominent voice maintaining critical thinking towards the decisions of the developers. Web 3 is far more user driven and all web3 teams need to work well with community sentiment. Each of your thoughts were sensible and worth bring up 👍
Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oi, i agree with you earning should have been turned on when all 3 game modes were released from day 1. thanks for sharing your thoughts, we like these videos, we want to hear your thoughts and feelings on these topics, keep them coming.
@@Scoriox Thank you very much for answering! Do you still think that is possible to earn a lot of money as land owner considering that fuel price now is very low?
Pushing a minor version or accumulating changes, depends on the business needs / business case (for which you make a good case), however is also depends on a lot other factors. E.g. amount of possible un-tested edge cases, dependencies on other systems and some times more "gut-feeling" and personal stuff like no push before holiday of a key person. I'm a simple data analyst on small projects. I push code to production release a little as possible, since i'm lazy and pushing things to production (getting user-feedback etc.) also takes time away from making awesome stuff. I would, Trust the team and don't unnecessarily push them to release. But, as always, great video, good thing to discuss as well!
If there holding off gauntlet bug fixes, then thats a bit annoying. But in general i think its best to polish up gauntlet before releasing leaderboards. Today i had a bug on gauntlet that lost me the game and that was annoying, I cant imagine how much more annoyed/fustrated i would of been if i lost a competitive match and droped my ranking due to bug.
I think they are pushing the game to be better and that’s what matters at the end of the day, I think a big bulk of updates at the minute can only be better for the game as I think they have a lot to do before the game gets mass adoption!!
I think, maybe you just are overthinking it. Maybe Kieran just wanted to give us some news and adjusted the information in this way, I think a better use of your time would be to to make this kind of analisis with a better and bigger "update note" from the team. If I am the product owner and he send me this image I'll repply: "sorry, won't read 1/3 of the information, give me the full details." ... See you, Counselor \o
Each of the "Games" have challenges, but it will be made easier once one of them gets real traction and can stand on its own.
Definitely, I want Gauntlet to reach a near finished state asap, then we can move to other things.
Right, but when is that going to happen? Casual gamers aren’t interested in having to jump through hoops to play a game with microtransactions

I always have the community in mind. We are working closely with Labs!
Thanks for expressing your opinion and your thoughts.
This is the place to do it, it's your channel and is the reason why I voted for you for IMC
I am glad you enjoyed the video. Opinion videos are easy for me to make so I am glad they are welcome and insightful
Yeah you are 100% right. Ship Fast & small updates! [Especially: At this stage with missing players... cosmetics are not important at all anyways]
I think there are some critical cosmetics inclusions, battle boards and emotes. Everything else can wait haha

Yesss hahah
I am developing a tier 3 land and i don't know if still keep upgrading or selling the land!
What do you suggest me to do? Is this game failing?
The game is in an intermediary period as they upgrade a few core systems. I definitely wouldn't say its failing.

i would of wanted ranking and leaderboard for gauntlet leviathan even if slightly broken just hold up on rewards until its polished
U should check out the recent announcement :P
@@Scoriox its not until end of october tho :(

I think its always worth the discussion.

I am well aware of these issues. I currently want nothing more than Gauntlet to be fixed before any sort of rewards structure.

They definitely are! I am working closely with them to avoid lacklustre airdrops in the future

I am most likely overthinking it yeah hahaha. I just remember seeing it and getting bothered.
Agree, fair critisicm
But again, we dont exactley know what is going on in the background. Maybe this was the best approach
Quite possibly yep. Development isn't very cut and dry
