Driver's Evaluation: Honking inside a station, honking inside a tunnel, honking at passing by station Goes 20 mph over speed while exiting the first terminal, 30+ in the tunnel, 30+ after second stop Leaves seat during top speed travel (the foot pedal needs to be pressed during drive) Opens passenger door at max speed Opens wrong side of doors at the first station stop Entered a 15mph station at 50+ (lots of coffee spilled in cabin) Left a 50mph station at 70+ Try to enter a UK station at 35 or less, the track switches might force the train to switch, so the train can't go above 30 in slow switch. Use the keyboard keys for accelerate and brake, unless you have an xbox controller, the mouse is jittery and unprecise. In a station the horn is used once in a short honk to alert people on the track if they are infront of the train when it departs. The back of the train must pass the speed sign going up, but going down in speed only the nose needs to pass the speed sign. The difficulty is to get there in time while still following some of the rules.
@@avanti488 If I didn't have a left dominant eye that can't be fixed with correction, I'd tell you. I imagine it to be very peaceful and more of the same, very little changes in routine apart from delays or engine breaking down. I'm the guy who read the manual, learned all the signals and quirks of train sim, scored 1000 pts on all the routes. Perfection ain't easy, that's the reward for following the rules and giving the ultimate ride experience. There's a little G-force meter on the HUD that shows how much coffee people would spill going through a switch. Apart from the 1000 hours logged driving trains, I also have 4000 hours logged flying Boeing 737 and 747. In case both pilots suffer from food poisoning (since I don't eat inflight microwave dinners), I could probably land the plane with some help from ground services.
