I think we should be commending these owners for getting Betty help and a great trainer. This horse will now have a great future.

Ivermectin clears up ticks - you probably got rid of them with worming if that is what you used. Four Oaks No Thrush is a dry silica powder that works great on rain rot as well as thrush. Dust it on once then daily grooming to get the scabs off and in about 3-4 days they are all cleared up. Works great on Sctatches (Mud Fever) as well. And, Tim mentioned he has trouble with his hips, hands etc - I had my left hip replaced last Feb. and my IT band was giving me fits when I was healing and doing PT - that same company has a Joint and Muscle liniment that I used that worked great!! I bought it for my mare but used it on myself - come to learn they are making it for people now too because so many have done this - it’s all natural and is The Bomb!!! I tell all my horse friends about Four Oaks Farm products and NO I am not affiliated with them at all!!

Were her owners newbies? Why was she allowed to be in such poor condition? Let's hope they'll take better care of her now.

I had a vet once put liquid Ivermectin into a horses ears to kill the ticks. Worked great.

I remember the 7 dust miracle. I wonder if cattle dust would also kill ticks. I used it on a horse that had lice until vet told me worming with ivomec kills the lice too.
