Aren't you not supposed to land a 2-33 on pavement because of the nose skid? I have always been told that you can damage it, and it is made for just grass.

That's what the nose skid is for, to prevent damage to the nose. At Moose Jaw CFS our primary landing area is the runways, with grass secondaries. To be sure, we go through secondary skids faster than if we were landing on the grass, but it's perfectly fine to land a 2-33a on the pavement.
