They have a beard scarf you can wear to sleep to keep your oil from getting on the face and it helps trap heat to further condition the hair, and prevents split ends to keep fullness/length.

Brushing is the most important part of this routine because it stimulates blood flow which delivers nutrients to the hair follicles.

  • @Tifroo

Going to give this a shot and document it, I'll be back here in 60 days!
EDIT: Disclaimer: I know I said below its been 3 months but I only used the oil for 2 months and probably missed like a day or two, haven't been bothered to continue brushing my face 50 times 😂. Also, I think in the video he says to do it once in the day and once before you go to sleep, I only did it once in the day since I wasn't trying to have so much oil sitting on my face.
This is roughly 3 months after btw. Just a quick description of my beard normally: I don't have a huge beard and most of the hair is located towards my chin and the lower areas of my jaw. The higher up my face you go the less hair there is and it's thinner. I wanted to use the oil so that those hairs thicken and my beard looks more complete. To cut a long story short, it did work but i only grew more hair in the areas where I was already growing hair (so that would be my chin and lower jaw). There has been a difference in the hairs above my lower jaw but it's definitely not noticeable. Despite saying that, it worked and there is a difference overall but it isn't huge or anything. That's probably due to genetics though.

I would recommend coconut oil as well, I've been using coconut and castor oil for a few months and my facial hair has gone from little line for a mustache into a complete beard. With just those two. U don't even need a brush, I just spread and rub it into my face with my fingers every night lightly. Get some biotin and eat healthy

  • @rashb3994

The left or right side can be fuller based on how you sleep. So if you sleep more on the right side of your face it will be fuller usually. This is parallel to someone removing a cast and being more hairy or someone sleeping with plastic or something covering their head at night to make it grow faster. So sleeping on one side is covering your face equaling fuller growth usually on that side.

Hey Devon, just wanted to say thank you for sharing this new natural beard growing method with us, it's always great to have someone putting their best foot forward for others, I just wanted to know if you've got any methods to protect your beard at night when you're sleeping to prevent the oil from rubbing off while you sleep and if you're using a medicine dropper instead of dipping the brush in the mixture how many drops do you think would be sufficient? Thanks again for the amazing tips.

I’m telling y’all African Shea butter the one that’s bright yellow. put that in your beard before bed and in the morning 3 to 4 times a week. You can mix some small amounts of tea tree oil (it’s very potent) but that should do it! and it will help grow your beard out thick! hope this helps

  • @ItsYusei

Would definitely love to see the day 90 progress.
I’m also growing my beard as well mainly because I was tired of shaving and getting razor bumps. Was in the military, National Guard, and still plan to go active duty but being in the service we couldn’t grow facial hair other than a mustache. Went to the dermatologist and got a note that allows me to grow my beard. I already could grow a “decent” amount of facial hair on sides but my right side was REALLY patchy.
What I’ve been doing is using minoxidil for 5(?) months and beard balm/oil and I really noticed my right side isn’t AS patchy and both sides are slowly connecting to my stache and goatee. Left is still “slow” but it’s definitely getting there. I don’t have a day 1 pic :/. I did keep my beard trimmed but quarantine until yesterday.
I’m gonna try the brushing beard because I have seen people do that here and there. Keep up the content, stay safe along with the wife and enjoy some good anime 😁

My suggestion would be to dilute the oil mixture with water just in case you're afraid of applying too much. Stronger oils like castor oil are more potent than say coconut and can cause unfortunate side effects such as a buildup of oil thus why you were breaking out.

Forgot to add biotin that is key and i mix castor oil, coconut oil and jojoba oil and i mix it with bhringraj powder. Did wonders for me. Also increasing the blood flow to those particular areas will promote the hair follicles to grow, That’s why you may notice thinning because not enough blood flow is going to that particular area. I will suggest trying minoxidil.

I love your energy and the way you present yourself. Earlier today, I saw a promotion for the Beard Club. I’ve wanted to try their stuff for a long time and I was finally ready to do it. But I hesitated and decided to research the products more just to be sure if it was right for me. And I came across a video from Beardbrand covering the topic of beard growth vitamins. According to that video, they don’t work and most companies who make stuff like that aren’t approved by the FDA. So I searched and searched, but I couldn’t find any evidence that the Beard Club’s products were backed by the FDA. As you can imagine, that left me confused and kinda shattered my confidence. But then I saw your video and I gotta say, you’ve got me intrigued. I’m hoping the products you mentioned are cheaper too. I do have one question though. Do you have your own technique on exfoliating the skin beneath your beard? I have a derma roller that I haven’t used yet because I want to make sure I am rid of dirt, grime and dead skin cells so I’m not running that stuff into my hair follicles making it harder for my facial hair to grow. Again, thank you for being awesome and I’ll definitely check out more of your channel.

Is it okay to use a derma roller instead, on the spot you want facial hair to grow? Put some oil on the spots and then use the roller

Have a fair bit of facial hair but it's patchy around the mouth. Trying to get it to fill in and have the beard and stache connect. I've been using castor oil and coconut oil for two weeks now. I usually apply the castor oil, leave on for about 2-3 hours and then moisturize entire face with coconut oil. Nighttime only tho. Already seeing a difference but never thought to mix the castor oil with tea tree oil. Will try it out. Thanks for sharing bro!
