Glad they are keeping Mack this year. He probably has another solid season in him and he is not injury prone. As this is not a draft we will be targeting Edge rushers, keeping Mack this year takes that need off the table for the draft. We need 2 corners, a pass catching TE, Offensive Linemen and Wide Receivers. So we can focus on that in the draft.
I really liked williams and always said hes the best jump ball receiver. He is soo clutch and if we can get him back its gonna be huge for us because we are gonna have close games with KC and we could throw a game winning jump ball to williams against KC or super bowl play. Hes still a great receiver regardless
This was what i was secretly wondering about for MW. It just makes so much sense for him to come back at market value. His injuries in 2022 and ‘23 I attribute to playing him in the slot. Especially those fucking screen plays that broke his back and shredded his ACL when half the other team twisted his body while tackling him. My biggest fear is our defensive line. Tuli benefited a lot from Bosa being hurt. Is he going to get significant snap cuts with Bosa likely staying? What we think bolt nation
And by restructuring mack and bosa rather than trading them for day 3 bullshit we have the option of trading them during the season at the deadline if our team isn’t looking playoff-ready, in which case we might be able to really leverage another playoff team without an edge for a day 2 or even a first rounder. In particular if bosa isn’t falling apart at the seams (knock on wood Ben Herbert!). I can imagine San Francisco paying up for either of those guys, either to unite the bosa bros or with staley banging the table for mack.
