To fully change, you need to bring up the past. It’s not going to be easy at all, but for change to occur you need to know what you need to change and how.
I think this is something many people need to know, as much as you try you can never completely run from your past, it will always return, so you need to find a way to permanently solve it, and bringing it up and talking about it can really start to help, you don't have to be alone to resolve your issues, there are people out there that understand and can help you.

People say that just bc Bakugou apologized to Deku doesn’t change anything which would be true if that’s all Bakugou did. But it isn’t. Even before Bakugou apologized, canonly, he stated that helping Deku with training was his way of atoning and continued saying to all might how he used to bully Deku bc he ignored his own weaknesses. That’s such a HUGE milestone in his development already. Realizing what he’s done wrong and taking accountability for his actions and taking action to atone for it is a big development alone. That’s what makes Bakugou’s apology to Deku so meaningful, he tells him everything he’s feeling and not only is it an apology but he really does CONTINUE to change after the fact. He even started calling Deku, Izuku. It’s Deku’s hero name though so Deku told Bakugou it’s fine and he doesn’t have to go as far as to calling him by his first name. This just makes me so mad when people say things like “Bakugou is a still a bully” or “that doesn’t change the fact that Bakugou su!c!de baited Deku” when he’s literally done all the things I mentioned above. Forgiveness takes time but you can tell Bakugou is genuine. He’s truly reflected on himself and his past actions and took ACCOUNTABILITY. That’s what matters above all things.

It just happens to me when people shouts at me, specially my family. Till' I was 5 i lived with my abusive mom and step-father and bullying at school, they would shout at me constantly and they would beat me, not badly but they would leave some marks, they made me sleep on the floor with the dogs and cats, and they ignored me most part of the time when they were not shouting and fighting. Then, my father took me with him and his family, but they were kinda harsh sometimes, I really love them, and maybe i'm a bit too greedy to complain like this about my own family that has took care of me, but it feels horrible to know that i'm fucking scared of them too. Everytime I did something wrong, they wouldn't let me explain too much and they would shout or slap me. So now, whenever someone shouts or is angry at me, I can't even say a word, I start to tremble and I feel like im going to cry. Not to say that I instinctively flinch if they raise their hand at me.

And when I flinch I just laught it off like nothing happened. I love my bestie but at the same time I'm terrified of her. So basically this video is PERFECT 🐤❤️
