That edit of the whole game at the end was amazing! OneShot has a small community but I’m really glad it does because it’s even better when you come across stuff like this.
Woah, this leitmotif video is really high quality; how much time did it take to make this??! It's so comprehensive, the organisation is excellent, and you do the editing so well - those transitions though! Thank you so much for making this video. Seeing such love and dedication put into both the OST and this video by wonderful people makes me indescribably happy. Also... I HAVE to acknowledge the Happily Ever After sequence - the attention to detail, the references, the presentation, the synchronisation - it's so powerful, especially overlaid over the song - a montage was definitely the right choice of medium for it. That scene could honestly be a standalone animation it's that good, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to rewatch this video in the future just for that bit. (* The memories are all flooding back!) Happily ever after may just be my favourite song in the OST now.
Just finished the game a couple of days ago. I'm a bitch for leitmotifs and this video helped me a lot to recognize them, thank you so much! My favorite ones are both The Sun 1 and 2
I love some of the songs in Oneshot but is was never my favorite soundtrack, never even realize there were so many motifs in it. Very good job documenting them. :D 5:00 Ok I find it really cool how they interconnected the Factory motifs with the Refuge. It takes the empty pounding from Abandoned Factory, and combines it with the echoing secondary melody of On Little Cat Feet to creating this pounding yet melodic feeling for Factory. 7:32 Oh huh, cool how the percussion in Rowbot follows the Navigate motif. 10:10 It sounds similar enough, cool how they kept that little melody mixed in for the World Machine, which fits since it takes on Niko's appearance. 11:01 Omg I thought the Countdown was just supposed to sound similar to an alarm, didn't even realize it followed Sonder! 11:55 Aww I love the shocked-feeling Encounter being turned into a synthy bop. 12:31 I think the World Machine motif is one of the few I noticed, but I never realized it wss in so many songs! I love how it shines in full in Niko and the World Machine. 15:28 My favorite is Silver. :> 17:36 Fitting that the song of the Universe would play during the Eleventh Hour! 21:35 Awww this is such a cute ending.
This is a great video, but there’s one motif I believe you’re missing It’s the other melody in my burden is light, and it’s played on the flute in the original version of nikos theme
A lot of the songs actually aren’t in the game, or are used for scenes where you’re paying attention to the dialogue more than the music, especially with the Solstice songs.

Absolutely incredible video. There's so much more to this game than I ever could have imagined. I hope more people give it a chance.

For some reason hearing all these leitmotifs make me feel happy and sad :p just like Oneshot LOL
It's a shame the algorithm hides this gem from the world
[ 12:31 Best part imo]
oh hey there wm
listen to this again:Niko_Trollface:
hi world machine
Wasn't expecting that edit at the end wow
My favorite is the library motif, no contest

This is so cool!!!
Oh... And btw...
18:08 - track "Rue" has this leitmotif too)
I love leitmotifs in games, this was a really cool video!
I also noticed in On little cat feet and phosphor sound like eachother
I LOVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER. ITS BASICALLY THE ONESHOT THEME
Amazing! I didn’t know there were so many motifs!(Also, that ending sequence is sooooo good)
This is a great video, but there’s one motif I believe you’re missing
It’s the other melody in my burden is light, and it’s played on the flute in the original version of nikos theme
Also My Burden is Light could fit with the World Machine leitmotif
I think Sunrise could've counted with the author motif. Most of it sounds like In Memory.
Heh. Sunrise. Aubrey pfp.
super duper well-put together, well done!
Duude I love how this video is made!!! Beautiful to watch! Really deserves more attention
You know... thanks for everything has a similar tune to my burden is light.
how do I not remember most of this music being in the game
Maybe because many of them are similar
some music went unused and only appeared in the ost
A lot of the songs actually aren’t in the game, or are used for scenes where you’re paying attention to the dialogue more than the music, especially with the Solstice songs.
Super interesting stuff.
im crying
Sad :(
has anyone else noticed that the "main/refuge" motif sounds very similar to the song that plays in the block world from yume nikki?
Holy crap you're right
@@TheAdvertisement ikr! it really throw me off for a while
When I first heard it I thought it was also kind of similar to Gaster’s Theme from Undertale
Wooooo lets goo
What is that it's time to fight a crime
Unused song
Isn't it used in the console version?
wowwwww☆☆☆☆☆
Is that a big shot reference?
jajajaja
