There are several reasons why we didn't include a pre-delay in Sparkverb : • we've tried hard not too have too many parameters, that was a design goal, the absence of distinct early/late is also a design choice, it doesn't mean there's no early reflexions and late reverb, just that we've tried to keep it simple and always good sounding, and we've gone to great length to ensure that it sounds great in all settings.
I have reverb plugins from other manufacturers. (Melda Production, iZotope) etc. But UVI's is the easiest to use. With just a selection of presets and a few tweaks, it leads me to the best results I want. That's UVI's Sparkverb and my favourite plugin.
Sparkverb is truly multichannel at its core. All 5.1 channels but the LFE are feeding the reverb differently to avoid phasing issues. Regarding the output, we made the choice to gather internal de-correlated reverb channels as a quad sub-bus (L R Ls Rs) to avoid touching the center traditionally used for dialogs. You may decide otherwise though and use a panner after the reverb to remap the result.
• there's already some internal delay according to RoomSize, the bigger the roomsize the bigger the delay, we wanted to keep it easy and natural • there's already some additional delay and pre-echo when using the diffusion section according to the diffusion delay and diffusion amount (put the diffusion knob all the way to 0 and you only have a pure delay, increase it up to 0.5/0.618 and you have diffusion spread evenly around this delay) • every host already has a built-in delay plugin
I think I have found the reverb I have been searching for outside of my Boss! It has been a long looking and lots of supposed happenings that just don't cut it! This one is absolutely beautiful! Trial now and in 10 mins I am buying it!
Fwuzeem Yes!!! I hope he gets paid well for his contributions to the plugin community. I've bought fabfilter, tokyo dawn, and now it looks like UVI will be getting my money too.
That's moronic. I think mr Worrall assumes that people watching his videos will demo the plugin before purchasing, like I've always done. He is a teacher showing us how to use it, not how it sounds. I think he believes you can make up your own mind about how it sounds once you figure out how to use it. This plugin for instance didnt compete with the 112db Redline Reverb, so I didn't buy it, but I still love his tutorials.
+andivax No there’s no undo/redo buttons per se. However you can use the A/B feature available in the top right corner and/or use the undo feature of your DAW if available.
+UVI thanx! DAW's undo/redo for plugins works bad. Your plugin has 2 randomize options so undo will be VERY handy. Nice plugins btw! ) Will demo it soon. thanx!
We have to disagree about the fact that it's only usable on strings and pads though, listen to our drum examples (diffusion and modulation really helps to have enough initial echo density with those BTW). The built-in predelay is consistent with the one you'd get if you had to put microphones and record within the virtual room.
The use-case of a tempo synced pre-delay wouldn't work perfectly because of the other sources of internal delay that are both built-in and dependent on the actual settings, the reverb would always arrive later than expected.

I see your comment as a reply to mine, but I didn't claim that it was only usable on strings and pads. The other thing, I didn't say pre-delay wasn't in Sparkverb. All I said was, I would like to be able to adjust the pre-delay and early reflections manually. For sure, I respect your decision to not include those parameters to be adjustable by the user.
Because they need to protect their work on these plugins obviously and make some money for future development. It may be good or bad but iLok is the best protection system by now.
When iLok was Dongle only, I would've fully agreed with this. But the new, computer only iLok License Manager is probably one of the simplest and most efficient registration types I've used. You only need an internet connection for the initial registration verification, but after that you can be offline all you want. UVI gives 3 licenses for each product, so you can verify on 3 different machines in completely different locations with no dongle needed at all in the process. I never thought I'd say this, but I actually _prefer_ iLok now. lol
I'd primarily be interested in this as a post production tool. If I send center only dialog to a 5.1 AUX with this inserted, what does it do? How does your surround algorithm interpret that scenario?
I can't see a pre-delay knob, so I assume it's not for the people who would like to adjust it independently/numerically. No early reflection either. It sounds nice, but the price is a bit steep for "set it only via colours" reverb. It doesn't have to be traditional GUI, but why not include an "advanced" controls in a different mode or sort?

yes, the sound is really great!... a nice Plugin for creating concert atmosphere... I love this big Hall feeling!!

I am currently in love with this amazing smooth reverb :D
Like the weeknds song? Blinding lights or hardest to love?

The plug in is AMAZING!! Uvi is awesome!
Superb reverb! a must in the studio…

Dan Warrall is amazing!

as soon as you hear Dan Worrall voice, you know it's gonna be a badass review or tutorial.

what is the track playing at 7:30 with the vocals ? No mention of it. If I wanted to buy it, how could I ?
See the video's ending credits.
i am trying to understand the difference between room size and decay time. thanks
WTF !!!! I'm buying it RIGHT NOW !
God damnit thats amazing.

excellent !!!!!
I was thinking about buying this until I saw it needs iLok. I bloody hate iLok. Why why why do you use iLok?
Me too, dumbest thing ever. However, you can have an ilk on your computer, and don't need the stupid dongle anymore, just an internet connection...

That choir is so great ! I wish I knew the name of that song ! I must buy this verb !
The audio example credits can be found at 8:35 in the video ;)
Thank you UVI ! Your job is so impressive !

Evidently it's better to complain on YT than delaying the audio send...
@@gombloddo832 Mind your own business.
the installer of this Plugin run not on windows10 sytem...... no error messages... nothing!? That's a pity!

The design goal... appears lazy.
I love your products but whoever does the speaking in your videos sounds like a serial killer.
