This is absolutely beautiful! I'll bet these kids were very engaged when coloring their creations. That's what learning is all about!

I have found that children love the arrangement of primary colors in perfect symmetry. I agree with what you say.

    Great Eugene Schwartz !!
Waldorf school is fine , but is depending of the teacher, the level of culture and knowledge .I do have a very bad experience in a Waldorf School in South London UK where the children was intimidating ,shouting and screaming during the lessons. This is the sacred part of the Waldorf . There is no management and leaders for the teachers ,no obbligations , no control. If you are so lucky to have somebody teach the subject as Eugene that is wonderful!

    Hello,
I am from Chicago and would love to know what is the name of the geometric shape the 6th graders drew when the video is at 3:21?
I love that shape and I can't seem to find out more information on how to learn to draw these shapes from 3:21 to the end.
thanks you for any help. I tried to find an email for you online so I hope you see this

@Pant4 The oldest know rendering of the flower of life sacred geometric form is at he Great Temple at Giza. As shown here it goes to many different forms. The Tetrahedron for ex. The circumpunct is what is very intriguing in the section talking about the 6 graders drawing a circle from the center out. Sacred geometric forms can effect healing in the body. Get a flower of life shield for you cell phone to protect against emfs. You can download them free, just do a search or chk here on yt.

Using a compass is not drawing a circle, in the same way that using a calculator is not doing arithmetic. A child must learn how to do something for himself before learning to use a tool to do it for him. Otherwise, the child does not truly understand what he is doing, and is simply pushing buttons as he is told.
Besides, just because young children CAN use game consoles doesn't mean they SHOULD use compasses.

fascinating. they are very talented. but even this approach seems ridged. why not hand the compass to the first grader rather than wait for five more years to pass? children at that age are already becoming more dexterous than their teachers. if they can handle consoles and handheld gaming devices, i think they can handle a compass. no sarcasm intended, i believe that is simply a fact in human development.
