I wish Kurt Cobain could've kept making music. He was a real music lover who was pigeon holed as a grunge metal punker... which is pretty cool, but he had so many more musical interests than that. I would gladly sit down and listen to Cobain compilations. I think he would have had a long and interesting career full of albums that fans hated because they weren't Nirvana enough.
Real fans would have loved them regardless of whether they blew up. Would of been great to see his evolution of his career. Unfortunately he was taken to soon.
He had really good taste and was really good at channeling that into his songwriting. He never compromised his music. Whatever style he did, it was always unique and inspired. There aren't many artists like that.
