Cool! I really like the video. I'm just starting to get into courseplay, after more than one year and over 600 hours of playing this game with the help of hired workers. I've got 4 of the monster potato harvesters and I used to harvest an ~7,5ha field like Field #7 on Westbridge in less than 2 hours. I was driving two semi trucks back and forth with the help of "Follow me", to unload those 4 monsters. All I can say is that Potato harvesting was not dull. hehe It was so intense, because I didn't want any of the harvesters to stop, as an added challenge to have a bit more fun. Now with courseplay I'm looking for ways to ease this work and there are many options to do this. I've already done a test harvest and it looks promising. I'm currently seeding the potato fields and its waaay easier with Courseplay. I just set it up and all I have to do is sit back and watch the 4 seeders seeding four fields at one time and even refilling themselves. Makes me kinda don't want to go to work anymore IRL. hehe Cheers! And wish you a happy new year! btw My record in potato harvesting is ~50ha that held over 4 million liters (or tons whatever) of potatos in 6 hours. With the help of 4 hired workers driving the harvesters and "Follow me" to help me drive two semi trucks at the same time between the fields an the farm. I was nearly braindead at the end of the 6 hours, but I made it and it felt kinda good at the end. ;)
Mistermoose, can i just say that these are the best Courseplay tutorial video's that I have EVER seen. And I'm not saying that just to be nice. I've never seen someone so clear,precise and easy to understand. Most people stumble over what they're saying or contradict themselves and so on. Anyway as I said brilliant video's do keep doing them. I have a question about how do you update courseplay? I noticed that you are running version 1.0001 or something. Its basically the next version to mine, but the advantage is that your version aromatically updates things like the offset just like in this video. SO I was just wondering would you be able to do a video on the process to update courseplay. Thanks so much again for these video's very very helpful and keep it up. p.s I did subscribe and most certainly will be coming back for more hahaha
How do you handle potato seeding and refilling the worktool with courseplay? I've found that Courseplay doesn't recognise a trigger point for the potato filler and I have to do all the filling myself then returning the tractor to the field to continue seeding.
Mistermoose, what mod do you have running in the upper left of your screen that's giving you info on your equipment? I tried Inspector but it took up a lot of screen room. Thanks for the potatoes too. ;)
I was about to sell my harvester until I saw this... thanks so much. All I had to do was adjust the offsets and now it works perfectly
