A few things to note for future manhunts:
The Ender Dragon cannot break end stone, bedrock, obsidian, or iron bars
If blocks are sitting directly above the middle of the perch spot, the dragon will perch higher than normal
Curse of Binding can be removed if the durability hits 0
Golden apples heal two hunger bars, and are actually a decent food source in a pinch
Swimming with a dolphin is slightly faster than riding in a boat
Exactly a 5x3x5 space is removed above the obsidian platform when somebody enters the ends
YelloWools can be defeated easily by politely asking them to leave
A sharpness 1 sword deals more damage then an unenchanted sword of the level above it

Whenever you want to kill the dragon, aim for the head because it has the most damage. And also, DO NOT jump whenever you're in the centre because the dragon can easily hit you and yeet you away.

The cactus was so tall because of the generation, I forgot exactly how but cactus look for a sand block to spawn on and if there’s already one their it’s just spawns on top, the record is 13 or something, I think that’s how it works

the sword had sharpness 4 so it would do more damage than the diamond axe, and would also have a shorter cooldown

Good vid as always, but Dev if you hit the dragons head it does more damage.
random mechanics are fun from time to time because of the chaos but skill based stuff is he way to go! heres an idea for you to make things interesting but still skill based; fill a double chest at spawn with items then take turns moving an item from the chest to your inventory. (dont get hung up on 1 at a time, a stack of sand, 32 gravel, 15 steak, 2 golden apples, etc all fine to count as 1 item, you got to use your best judgement to try to make things equally valuable, it makes no sense to have a diamond sword and diamond axe competing against a single block of wood)
this way you get the chaos of mid-late game items at the beginning, AND the skill in choosing the items based on what your opponent picked
here are some block ideas; x sand, x gravel x wood, lava bucket, fire bucket, x ender pearls, x steak, 1 of each diamond equipment, x tnt, saddle, x string, x hay bails
you get the idea
note: if not doing 1v1 you need to alternate picking from team to team so a team cant get tnt and flint and steal on first pick, for example; this gamemode is best for 1v1 or 3v3 etc, but uneven teams work too you just have to give the runner a pick after every hunter pick or they will get steamrolled
