“You’re gonna be in the hall of fame? For what fucking up World Series?” What a goat
That line was amazing.
But he got in sooo
Yeah, 1996. Earl did win one in 1970 also
"You ain't no good"
"Aw, you aren't either"
god this is great
"Ah, you're full of shit, fuck you!"
"what? For fucking up a world weries?" Lmfao
Why is it WAY funnier without the cursing? Just so matter-of-fact.
Diskflame hilarious the best one 😂🤣🤣🤣
Earl weaver
The Earl Weaver one is the greatest ever
It was, shame it wouldn't be able to take place today, too politically incorrect
Earl Weaver was even worse in the minors, one umpire remembered that he took first base with him and locked himself in a room. Since it was the minors, they didn't have any extra bases, so the groundskeeper had to knock on the door and beg for the base back so they could finidh the game. xD
Wow, this was on TV? FCC would shut down the network that aired this today!
@@jeffking5505 Uh, no, it wasn't on TV. They take a lot of footage that they don't air. You know how there's all those cameras to get all those different angles.....yeah. And the umpire was wearing a mic for a documentary about umpires, so the broadcast feed wouldn't have been picking that up anyway.
Always thought the funniest part of that one was how it was right in the 1st inning
And people say you can’t steal 1st 4:30
lol
I was about to post that but decided to scroll down to see if someone already did! 🤣🤣
Internet Explorer I saw this and I was like wait what but now I get it lol
As umpire I would have taken that as a Pirate forfeit.
Its nice to see don zimmer in a video where he doesn’t get dusted by Pedro Martinez
nah that videos better
There’s actually a video on UA-cam of don Zimmer getting thrown out of a game as A PLAYER with the dodgers in 1959 it’s pretty cool lol. Search up Dodgers vs. Cardinals 1959 you’ll find it.
Pedro such a pussy...throwing a 70 year old man..real tough guy
You gonna be in the hall of fame for fucking up the World Series.... 😂😂😂
The best part of that is, he was. Haha
He won more than he lost...games.
Erb is The Beast um
That ump was salty
Who the eff are u guyd talking about
I love how managers yelling at umpires and getting thrown out of the game is the culture of the game and the commentators talk about it just like a normal play 😂
It's a ploy to rally the team, I think
One thing that's undeniable, Earl Weaver was right when he said he'd be in the hall of fame.
RIP Earl.
Aaaah, good old fashioned in your face umpire-manager and umpire-player arguing, timeless. Absolutely priceless. Love it!
The Don Zimmer ejection should go into the history books as the greatest. I love how announcers used to not talk incessantly, they are just silent as the thing plays out. Amazing.
That last one is awesome.
Rip don zimmer
Here’s my Discord Server!
discord.gg/NJqfPar
How about sliding into first base!
I assume George Brett pine tar is in here.
That conversation with weaver is priceless
That hall of fame material
It's refreshing seeing managers and umps yelling face to face during Covid times .
5:01 he’s just doin his job🥺
Same with the umps! 😄
Player: *sneezes*
Umpire: "Alright! I'm done, get out of here!
2:03 is such an iconic moment
The way don zimmer bobs his head like a rooster on his way to argue is truly art in its purest form.
8:27 "BOOM!"
That might be the happiest an umpire has ever been to eject someone
My personal favorite was an AJ Pierszinski ejection. After a foul off out of play, he told the umpire, "Give me a ball. One you can see."
Edit: For everyone harping on the George Brett Pine Tar incident. Technically, he was not ejected. He was called out, which ended the game.
At the time, yes. However, the league ejected him after the fact, so when they overturned the call and they had to resume the game later in the year, someone else was playing 3B for the Royals (one of the few times a player is ejected after hitting a HR)
How can you have a list on ejections and not have Bobby Cox on it?
Hell yes
The last two were hysterical my goodness.
Man... that was intense. Great video bro!
I like the umpire’s look at 4:55. He got the impression “Was that really necessary?”
bruh that last umpire was savage as hell
8:00....Joe West was thin!!
Yea, I nearly spewed drink on my monitor when they said "Joe West is trying to calm things down"
I love Earl Weaver!
Omg most of those were priceless, especially the last one and the one where the manager took first base on his way to the dugout lol.
"Ah, your full of * * * * Earl"
😂😂
"You rung yourself Earl!"
Reddick- "That's fucking shit!"
-Subsequent termination of a ROOT Sports sound guy
I love these types of videos! Some of these games I've never seen before and felt like some context was needed, but I appreciate the time you put into them.
I love how Earl comes out and is arguing about who touched who with their finger. That’s hilarious.
Mlb umpires are jokes. You tell them you don't like the color of their shoes and they'll eject you
in the last clip earl got the last laugh, he IS in the baseball hall of fame
Beauty of a frame by the first catcher
Can't blame Joe Girardi and Gardner for being a little mad over that strike vs Angels.
Can you do rarest endings to games
So from a youthful Cubs fan (19 years old) the Don Zimmer rant is astounding.
The Zimmer one was awesome👏👏
Taking the first base bag had me in tears.
It's just like WTF
Hes owning first base & his strut out w it!! Cool beanz!!!
Love the 70s MLB
Mic'd Up: rated R
Last one is priceless
can u do Bobby cox getting pissed off and ejected please!!!!???
Weaver was right about one thing: He is in the Hall.
Great vid man! Keep it up.
This is why baseball remains a game! The way players, umpires and managers act like little boys proves it!!!
As a Orioles fan glad to see Earl Weaver in this video
“You are a liar Earl, A liar!” Lmfao
This is gold!
These really are great!!
Is it a requirement to go berserk like that or is it like wwe and they put on a show?
These fuckin ejections brings back memories i don't know why 😂😂😂
4:49 The way he just chucks it down the stairs ahahhahaa
"you're gonna be in the hall of fame??, For what? Fuckin up world series?" THAT,if anyone knows the history of Weaver and the Orioles, is a classic smackdown! Gotta give that round to the ump !
oh boy that was good
Wow I’m early
That Earl Weaver ejection is hilarious
Sweet Lou
Great entertainment to watch someone getting ejected
Brad Ausmus arguing will a mouth full of seeds 😂
Earl walked into his finger. He didn’t push his finger.
I still liked Earl more though
It feels like umps were more animated when arguing back in the day
you forgot the George Brett one in the pine tar incident! Other than that, great job
That is Lloyd McClendons first base bag there are many like it but that one is his
3:50 Holy shit, James Gammon use to be a MLB coach? Makes sense why they cast him in 'Major League' now...
Man I loved having Lou lol
5:00 now that's a baserunner if I've ever seen one!
How are you going to have a greatest ejections of all time and not include George Brett being thrown out then bum rushing the ump, that’s an all time great one.
Christ almighty, I thought Lou Pinella was gonna have a heart attack near the end of that one. 😄
Lloyd McClendon was a passionate manager who I liked: not a good strategist, but a passionate guy who cared about his kids
I hope Wally is in this video !
Respect to the Pirates putting a hat on the stolen base
2:33 Im sorry but I just have to point out that it looks like they are maling out and thats the best camera angle ever
Lmaooooo when your ego turns you into a giant toddler that was told no 😂😂😂
7:56 Kiss him... Kiss him!
Zimmer is the best! With the bulging eyes and all.
Can't imagine how ridiculous the umps must feel after watching how seeing the horrible calls they make. Maybe they don't care that they can't do their job right sometimes.
Like they say Baseball is a game of failure, which includes umps
Hernan Mayorga how many games have you umped?
Just ask Jim Joyce after costing Armando Galaraga a perfect game
How come you don't umpire MLB games?
10:10
Earl Weaver
inducted 1996
@3:53 - When did James Gammon transfer from Cleveland?
Can we get all the umps and coaches mic'd up so we can hear these exchanges?
Yankees manager can really get livid. Reminds me of Lou Panella
No pine tar incident?
1:58 the ball is almost hitting the ground thats a pretty bad called strike
Pete Rose and Dave Pallone should be in here
The zimmer one looked like two bulldogs trying to intimidate each other
I'm going to shout at you very loudly and wave my arms about. And if you're not careful I'm going to kick dirt at you.
You couldn't make it up. Hilarious 😂😂
7:52 I thought they were about to kiss
Never thought I would see the day joe west trying to break up a fight 😂
If either manager doesn't argue with the umpire at least once, is it even baseball? ⚾️
1:45/1:46 is me when I used to get my report cards.
To Weaver’s credit, he did end up in Cooperstown not long after this.
As a kid playing baseball was something we always did. To see a live game would have been great. The infield strategy, the endurance of pitchers made the game exciting. Today it seems the most entertaining portions are homeruns, arguments and cheaters. Not something that I would take my grandson to see. Nowadays the only baseball I watch is an occasional highlight. Prices are too high for little value. The owners have forgotten their roots.
Okay, the Earl Weaver one was great. But where was Terry Collins and Noah Syndergaard getting ejected after Syndergaard threw behind Chase Utley? That one's also a classic - our ass is in the jackpot!
The best one I've seen this year is Mets manager Mickey Callaway getting ejected for arguing after Robinson Cano was hit by a pitch and the umpire called it a strike, saying that Cano's move to avoid the pitch counted as a swing. You can hear Callaway, veins bulging from his neck, shouting "BULL-FUCKIN-SHIT!"
0:04
Guess what Earl is in the Hall of Fame
"HA" "YEAH? "BOOM!!" AAAAW THATS GREAT!!
