    i did exactly what you did... it does not boot the usb drive

      From what i have heard, some rpi's will not boot from a USB drive. BUT, with that said did you refresh your eeprom & do a system update? That might help?

    how to UNINSTALL my pi image ( ubuntu for raspberry pi) from my SSD drive? I want to use the SSD for something else. I have a pi and a Ubuntu laptop and android tablet I can use. Help

      Unplug the usb drive

      raspi-config allows you to select your boot device - see "boot configuration" i recall (assuming you flashed the latest eeprom already)
