In 007, you do use R1 to use your weapons/gadgets. If you hold R1 with the machine gun, you can keep shooting as long as you have ammo. To check that it was really working, use it against enemies or in front of a wall and you'll see the shells flying out.
@@Hybridknfgrowchannel I don't think one of the best but it's a hidden gem for sure. Unfortunately after the Pegasus ride the Hades part is pretty anticlimactic and the final boss is a joke. Still I'd give it 7.5 or 8/10
I think of PS1/N64 because there was that weird 1996 commercial for Enter the Gecko where Gex is like calling to say he's stalking the player or something.
Gex references explained: “4th of July at Rick James’” Johnny Carson monologue joke “This one’s for Johnny” From the outsiders “That’s for 12 years of Full House” Just exaggerating how long the show was on and his dislike of it. This game is pretty good in my opinion and has aged much better than the majority of mascot platformers that came out around this time.
@mikematei yes and no. If you hit them with your tail you get one health. If you eat them- like a blue one you shoot ice . A red one you shoot fire. You were eating some, but you was mostly hitting them with your tail. Plus the Polaroid. Hit it with the tail .the camera is delayed ,but it blinks immediately. You have mostly figured .try again only eating orbs. You will have alot more fun with it. I had it on 3do but it looks identical.
Give Rayman a chance, you'll like the hard difficulty. You can actually destroy the targets in the background in Hercules, hold up and press square while holding a boulder. You also can ground pound the log that's holding the sandbags to break them all together. There were secret areas with cracked floors as well and just collect the doll, no need to attack it.
Bushido Blade is a "realistic" fighting game. Arm shots make the person unable to use their arm, leg shots cause them to limp, and a headshot is a 1-hit kill. You have to prioritize dodging and blocking.

I rented Gex Enter the Gecko at Blockbuster when the first Nickelodeon movie (Harriet The Spy) came out and rented both. Big time for me. I really wanted to like Gex as well but as a kid it's awesome seeing a gecko reference my grandpa's nostalgia.
