Hed get KOd for sure. I admit he has a ton of pressure and absolutely massive tank BUT he makes tons of mistakes which a fighter would capitalize on
DJ Fuego obviously he’d adapt his style dramatically if he was training mma I think he’d do incredibly well with his work ethic and cardio
Everyone in MMA has made a mistake...can he take a shot, and can he give one? That is more important, he has the gas tank to go hard...harder than most. But I have no clue how he would do? Would be fun to watch...Clay Guida comes to mind!

I think the first time good guys match up with Desanto he surprises them. It’s the follow up matches where they get him and he doesn’t adjust.

Never even heard of dessanto and I was recommended his match against spencer lee state final and won and watched the interview he seemed as humble as can be and even look like he was sad for Spencer Lee losing his chance at his fourth State title. I do follow college wrestling and when I found out he was going to Iowa with Spencer Lee and watch some more matches dude is a beast especially with the practically unstoppable fireman he has..this is a prime example of technique over might...dude understands leverage advantage better than almost everyone in my opinion and effortlessly blasts through top-ranked wrestlers... Though I did find out eventually that he does have a bit of a temper but it is something you need when I wrestling at this kind of level and it's not a bad thing at all once the wrestling is over he turns into a respectful human being. Much respect makes it look too easy

Because they said who won the match it’s no longer good content? As little as I care for DeSanto, gotta admit, he is pretty good. Was he recruited that little out of High School, or did he just choose Drexel as a stepping stone ?
Easily could’ve gone anywhere but probably wanted to go to a smaller school. Spencer got him to transfer.
No, after he beat Spencer Lee in high school Lee told him he needed to come to Iowa and he said no I’m already going to Drexel. From what I understand Spencer and Austin kept in touch and finally was able to convince him to transfer.
He had a lot of troubles coming out of high school which limited his options. He was always pretty unstable but that freshman year really showed how much he had fallen. Then Iowa came in and helped turn the guys life around. It's been night and day since he went to Iowa.
Later this same year, DeSanto really made a name for himself when he put an illegal hold on Micic and the national tournament and looked like he was trying to break his arm. I'm glad he's grown up and is now a fabulous Hawkeye, but he should have been disqualified from that tournament.

Bruh he was the 11 seed. If micic was really injured, he wouldn't have wrestled. It's an upset. Lee was injured in his last state title run and lost to desanto and that was still an upset.

Spencer lee wrestled Austin in high school not college! Yes Ik micic didn’t break his entire acl but he did majored him at NCAA’s and then last year against him at iowa winning 3-2. But yeh since this match the rivalry is 2-1 in a row micic. 1 major for each and one decision in favorite of micic
The problem is almost everyone that wrestled him the first time doesn’t understand the elbow, don’t notice how bad it can be. Than if you just hold your arm back he’ll chase stall calls
