Hi! I'm planning a new video on Mixer Grinder separately (This one was for food processors). But to answer your question - yes, the Usha lid is tight enough but does not have lock. If you want lock, I saw this one has locks for the chutney jar amzn.to/3Ooa7gq which can be useful. Yes, have to hold for Usha as the 2 main jars that I use do not have locks. It's not a challenge for me as I do short runs only of the mixer. But I can see why that will be a plus :) Yes, I'll be adding Atomberg in the new mixer grinder analysis.

I have the same Usha one. Using it for more than a year now and it is working flawlessly for me. Noise level is also important to me and I found it relatively less noisy compared to the Phillips one I had in the past.
I bought the Usha one couple of months back after extensive research. It works well. Unfortunately, couple of draw backs. The round dial is hard to use with wet hands. I would prefer the usual cursor type dial as in other mixies. The silver body of the processor has started to rust for me. ☹️

Hi Soumya how r u? We r 2 retired ppl . Bought Usha 3811 n using since last 1 yr. Steel blades coconut grater n most imp disk holding blades r plus plus points. All other fp have either plastic disk n the pieces residue falls down through the gap between disk n main bowl. It’s very difficult to collect the pieces So usha has no this problem. But mixer part of Usha is hopless. Grater blade is too thin but ok for parathas not for gajar halava. Coconut grater is super So go for Usha Using Sujata mixer seperatly

Again, a very impressive and honest review. We had purchased Singer Food Processor (Lady Chef), almost 12 years back and we loved to use it as it was very efficient. We thought of buying a new food processor as Singer was a medium sized food processor. After going through many videos and other sources., we bought Usha 3811, almost 2 years back. I must say it is an excellent food processor. Keema mince which used to take 20 odd minutes in Singer, take hardly 2 minutes. It's all other attachments are also very good. I remember that its Juicer attachment was found to be broken. We refereed the matter to the company and within 5 days we got a new replacement. No doubt, Usha is the market leader in food processor.
