She hasn't played like this for years. She's on fire. And we're all so pleased for her. Really lovely lady and a great ambassador for both the sport of golf and New Zealand.
@@johnmiddleton4879 Lisa Carrington, swimming; Ellesse Andrews, Cycling; Hamish Kerr, High jump; are some who come to mind. Mind you, I'm hoping Lydia will get our Sportsperson of the year!
@johntwemlow6089 agree with Lisa Carrington .. but when you put together the sports profile, longevity of excellence, quality of world class opposition, achievements attained etc those you mentioned with no disrespect don't really compare.
"..up & comer.." ? You haven't been paying attention. Atthaya Thitikul has already reached the #1 world ranking plateau, and has clearly established herself as a top tier player for a few yrs now.
Lydia Ko broke the spirit of Jeeno Thitikul with her 2nd shot to the green. More than a few times, Jeeno out-drived Lydia by at least 50 yards or more, but Lydia rescue-wood is so good, especially fading the shots to the pin. That broke the camel's back. Many times, Jeeno stroked her iron over the green, giving no chance to birdie. All credits to Lydia Ko for her performance and winning the tournament with a final day score of 63! She is truly A Hall of Famer ... A class above the rest of the LPGA golfers today! She is UNTOUCHABLE
What a convincing win. I picked Ryu to break out and win. She almost did and had a great back nine, but Ko was too strong. Jeeno put herself in a good spot to win. I think she's on the cusp. Great swing and can hit the ball far. Good job to the video editor for this week's highlight videos. Much better overall since it was hard to watch this tournament this week. 🤙
I recommend you don't watch WNBA and LPGA content back-to-back - the respect and class with which the competitors treat each other is a frightening contrast
The men shoot 20 under plus at the BMW. The women shoot about 20 under. Flat greens, little rough, shallow bunkers help. More British Open and US Open setups, please. Birdiefests are boring.
Lydia is in the form of her life, which is stellar by the tour standards

She is on fire as of late!! Way to go !! Proud of you ! Legend in her prime.. in hof and still in her prime
New Zealands greatest sports person bar no other. And also New Zealands most humble, beautiful sports person bare no other.
What a career ❤
N.Z's greatest GOLFER yes, not greatest sports person. And I'm a golfing fanatic.

Lydia Ko is a generational talent for sure, pure class! Thitikul looks like a fine up & comer too. Congratulations to Lydia 🎉 awesome play..
@KennethWiddifield love Thitikul too, she's cool

Once Lydia broke through the Hall of Fame barrier, she really found her groove. She is a tough competitor!

Why is it that the women get the worlds worst video editor?
Well done Lydia, you are a joy to watch.
Who can beat her?
Not Ryan Fox 😢

Todo muy aburrido, Lpga muy pocas Americanas y europeas en los primeros puestos. Que está pasando ?
Boring? Not for us Lydia fans 😂 does it really matter where they come from, I want to see the best. Everyone else has to lift their game
You better tell them PRACTICE HARDER than Korean and Thailand Players. Winner is determined by the Scores.
They wait for the hole to get bigger ...... But no, all the same size ....
I think they are playing better golf
