2024 one of the most beautiful songs in the world. To think that I discovered her in an episode of Charmed from the 2000s, which I was watching again last year. How is something like this possible? I dont ear never this song, before? I haven't answer. But it is a rare jewel, thank you Beth Orton, for creating this star, which radiates beauty and light after years.
Oh Beth, nice nice nice... ich wußte nicht, dass es dich noch gibt. wie schön, diese stimme einmalig !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ein sehr schöner Song. Bitte komm wieder mal nach Berlin.
I'm sorry about ur brother. I thought of my daughter Nicole the first time I heard it today on a rerune of Charmed, I lost her 10 years ago this month.
I'm always surprised Beth didn't have a bigger or more prominent career after Daybreaker. It's a masterpiece. I know she's continued to write and record, but Daybreaker is so perfect that I would have thought she'd still be *huge*
Best Beth Orton song. Why doesn't she play this anymore? I've trawled UA-cam and there are only two live performances of this song (including this one) that I can find, and they're both from the early 2000s.
2 words, Only two. Absolutely incredible.

I wish I could go back to this era.
Still fresh Christmas Day 2023, thankyou Beth

Her Simplicity and Cadence is Sublime!🙌💛✌🏼
One of my favorite Beth Orton songs I love the album version better but it was nice to see it performed live, I love you Beth Orton you touch my soul.
Just lovely

Beth has got to be one of those wonderful surprises!

SO beautiful.
amazing song
once again this is just great!!
she is so real. so great. beautiful spare version of a fabulous record. that her voice cracks a bit in the chorus is so soulful here.

Adam P absolutely agree. Lucky enough to see her live in Detroit many years ago. Her music remains my favorite

I can get lost in her music
come to my rescue Beth, you know I love you
This song make me cry because of lip service I love Ruta as Frankie 😓😓
anyone know what shes playing chord wise
any book of tab for Daybreaker?
@toutvabien01 I thought it sounded a bit odd.
This song destroys me. There's something about Beth's delivery of some extraordinarily poignant lyrics makes me just...weep.
great song, but she isn't really playing her guitar (which makes the concept "live" kind of silly)
It's not like you said 13 years ago. She played the arpeggio, the other guitar played the chords. The guitars that were playing, therefore, are 2.
