Recorded September 24, 2012 The view from the 94th floor of the John Hancock Center in Chicago, Illinois. This is part of my complete Chicago video found @ • Chicago
The John Hancock Center is the "Scottie Pippen" of Chicago´s skyscrapers. I mean Pippen was a extraordinary player but always were overshadowed by Michael Jordan. The John Hancock Center is a great great building but it is always overshadowed by the one and only Sears Tower... Pippen= J.H.C and Jordan= Sears Tower. all of them in the windy city... Greetings from México.
GREAT video! John Hancock Center is one of my favorite skyscrapers not only in the U.S but in the world. It's triangular design structure is one of a kind, designed by the one and only Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. Being a Brazilian, we don't have this kind of buildings here. And Chicago, no words, absolutely breathtaking skyline. Along with L.A, comprise my favorite cities in the USA.
Wow that’s just disrespectful the Sears tower is iconic and one of the most recognized Bulidings in the world smh 🤦♀️ this building is nice but not sears tower level btw you ain’t a true Chicagoan if you call it that.
Poltergeist 3 was Film there . Also The John Hancock center building elevator was broken it got stuck on 40 and up floors in the building back in the 1980s .
I have a funny story about the Hancock center back in 1982 My best friend and I went up to what we thought was the observation deck instead the elevator doors opened up and we walked into th restaurant on the 95th floor Well My friend and I weren't exactly fashion plates torn jeans and tee shirts and My friends ass in his jeans were torn out you never heard so many forks being dropped in your life.
There is the open-air SkyWalk (seen at 3:18 in this video). But it's more like they opened a few windows rather than an open air deck. Thanks for watching. 🙂
My favourite building in Chicago, have been up many times. The best views in all Chicago!!
One of my favorite buildings in Chicago...good video!!!
Holy Crap, at 5:10 you can hear 'Eleanor Rigby' playing!!! :D
I have been up in the Hancock Center twice and this building and the views are absolutely first rate and simply magnificent.

Who would win in a fight ? Big John or Sears Tower .

My favourite building in Chicago
best. city. ever.
it really was the1st genuine 100 story building ever built☝🏻
Anything over 700 or 800 feet is all the same . I've been to Sears observatory but much too crowded . Would rather go to this one .
I would love to take my Romanian friend up here.
Man would she be in seventh heaven. Trying to get her a visa for the summer of '17.
Willis Tower is overrated, this tower will forever be in my heart.

I would recommend going there again Hoosier Tim, because they replaced half of the “Skywalk” with a new attraction if you didn’t know
the John Hancock Center is like a baby version if the Willis Tower
Technically, you could say that Sears is a big version on John Hancock since it was built first.
