kman Yes! The worst part is that Nova sent them a distress signal warning them about the Annihilation wave heading towards earth and they IGNORED IT. Nova yells at Tony Stark about it especially since he brushes the whole thing off and just cares about Nova registering.

yes, they are assholes and busy fighting each other while Nova and the rest of the galaxy put their life on the line to protect the universe.

After watching your videos for a few weeks, you are now my inner voice when I see the narration in a marvel comic.
This was a good video. I've kinda known of this story for a while but didn't know much. Now that I've seen just how epic it is, I'm getting even more respect for the Cosmic side of the Marvel Universe. Hell, near the end, I was wondering "wait a sec, is this where Nova rips out that guy's organs from his throat?!...HOLY SHIT IT IS" when it happened, earned my like on this video
Keith Giffen, author of Annihialtion, was the only one after Jim Starlin and Ron Marz who stayed somewhat faithful to Thanos anti-hero characterisation post-Infinity Gauntlet. Pretty much all other Writers regressed him into a by the numbers villain while also making him less smart and more thuggish, which is the reason why Starlin did the retcon with the clones in Infinity Abyss.

Annihulus really is a cool villian. Really should've had him as the villian in FF.

One of my favorite Marvel events from the 2000's. Really loved Annihilation.
Wait this crap was happening during civil war??? This was a fuck ton better than civil war. Sure some of the characters are little more obscure but the story is way more boss they should promoted this over civil war.
I'm pretty sure they would've been. Planet Hulk was also going on at the same time
Rusto Panther even though I purchased Civil War as it happened, I remember this story arc being a lot more compelling since it gave attention to Marvel's cosmic characters and had bigger stakes.
Maxphyte Earth didn't even know how close it was to ending until Nova got back to earth and told Iron Man. That's also when Richard found out that The New Warriors, a team he was a founding member of, unintentionally caused the Civil War, and that their name became the symbol of irresponsibility on Earth.
Annihilation is the best marvel event ever.

All that fighting when all they had to use on Annihilus was a can of Raid insecticide. Wraith was probably the coolest character out of Annihilation.

CaptainMarvell92 Returns Comicstorian skipped it but in Ronan's Annihilation story he fights her and she kicks his ass and almost kills him. She is suppose to be a top class fighter, the Deadliest Woman in the Universe was her title for a reason.
