Denny you make me nervous when you throwing the net and that tide so high. I know country bai used to them things but please be very careful. Always enjoying your videos with the family and friends. Much love from Toronto 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦❤❤❤
Love to look at your videos. That's what I've doing for the past 4 months lockdown in NYC(once the epicenter) Can't wait to get back to normal life so I can visit my birth country, before I depart one day.
Ardy, watdemansay? Happy Caricom Day bro and see yu drinking my beer breda Red Stripe! Anyhow Yu tek care and blessings as always, from a Jamaican in Toronto.
Enjoyed your fishing video. Was a little bit nervous when I saw you throwing the castnet. I am thinking you are going to fall in and the water really wasn't what you would refer to as calm, and since I don't know to swim, it made me a bit nervous. Anyway you are home safe enjoying your fried fish and your wife's lovely cook up. On another note, I like your kitchen cupboards and am thinking to have some done on my house in Guyana so would like if you can shed some light or recommend your contractor. Thank you!
I use to go fishing at all those area . If you want to catch fish with a net you have to go when the water is coming in and go in the water in the flat area pass knee high and throw the net.
hey i like ur channel ... i usually fish out there if u go out on the nip tide u will get better catches.. even snapper, banga . n snook depends on whats feedin close
Entertaining video. Is that jetty by the Kitty foreshore? At the intersection of Vlissengen Road and the EC Public road. If it is.... that's where I learned to swim when I was 8 years old :)
@@ITSOURLIFEARD ..... wow, it was better looking back in 1960. That area was beautiful with nice tanned color sand. Myself and four neighbours would wake up early and run from Dowding St to the seawall and play in the Ocean until we learned to swim. Head back home before our parents awoke. After I learned to swim there, I was a frequent visitor to the Luckhoo swimming pool. Where the GDF compound is was a huge pasture, Golf Course and Shooting Range. We then swam in the ponds of the golf course property and the security guards would run us down..... never caught us though. We were naked and running ... and Sotie was swing left and right ... hahaha. Memories of that area. Cheers.
Mr. Danny, Thank you for the videos. When you were on the jetty, throwing your castnet (10:12), where is this in GT? I'd like to visit the next time Im in Guyana. Best wishes from NY.
Thank you for responding! I recently discovered your channel. Spent alot of time looking at your channel this weekend. I will share with my friends. Best wishes to you and your family.
Good Afternoon , Some of those Fish Maybe get Book learn , Stay Away from The Jetty They Guys Down in This Island Does walk with Bread Rice and throw it around and then Fish 😁😁😁.🐟🐟🐋.
Hey Danny - can you tell me what was the purpose for the Jetty/ Walkway you are standing on. I know they go back to the Dutch/ British days. Please tell the public something about them. I know there are about five of them on the sea shores of Guyana..
@@ITSOURLIFEARD Danny , I was expecting an answer "like its part of the Sea Defence". but but you gave me a good answer. However, I have read in a book on the slaves and indentured migrants who was brought here by the sailing ships landed on these walkways then in turn walked to shore where there were greeted by Officials for registration and separation. Not sure on this but maybe some knowledge person can help . Its good to know this about our ancestors . Sometimes I sit and think how our descendants were treated in a miserable way. Three months to cross the Ocean crowded below deck like animals and used buckets to poop in with the bodies thrown overboard on death. Today the offspring of those people are enjoying life for their sacrifice. What a way to go !!! In your travels if you meet a Centurion , ask the question to see if they can unravel this mystery. Thanks ! I love what you are doing to the poor people all over Guyana. You must be blessed a thousand times over.

Behind the celina resort. Or by the new round about at the head of vlesingen road. Or opposite where the late president LFS Burnham memorial is.
