No, its one of the few printers with dumb internals (it was called winprinters as its up to your pc cpu to sort and prepare your prints), accepts almost every third party cartridge and dont register prints count, with every cartridge change you change drum, responsible to print quality, so Canon lbp 2900 and HP 10xx series are almost immortal until they lost drivers support on OS side, Windows 10 still supports them.
Hi elespectador5677 , they discontinued their support for old products (i can understand that from their side, there will be lots of potential risks), but you can get drivers from other unofficial archives like "canondriverhp" try to google it
