- The African American Legacy Preaching Series of Christian Theological Seminary presents "A Conversation with Rev. Dr. Carolyn Ann Knight hosted by Dr. Frank A. Thomas." The Rev. Dr. Carolyn Ann Knight, a passionate professor and preacher, is committed to the integrity of the discipline of homiletics as a whole and particularly the best of the African American preaching tradition. As a pioneer and trailblazer for several generations of black women preachers, she serves as an example and standard-bearer of high-quality preaching. She shares her experience, wisdom, and insights about preaching.
Rev. Dr. Knight was my professor at The Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, GA. I learned so much from her wisdom and guidance.
This woman taught me and gave me books. She literally gave me books.

I love her too, women should preach women should teach women should get theologically trained, but women should not be pastors, according to the Bible.
Dr. Thomas thanks for continuing the series I am a young preacher from Miami Florida that sat at the feet of the late Great Dr. Mack King Carter and to hear some of these wonderful stories from these great preachers of the gospel is wonderful. I’ve been waiting two years for the series and back and you started out with fire Dr. Walter Scott Thomas, Dr. knight oh boy every round, goes higher and higher. Bless you Dr. Thomas. God bless U.
