Speaking of stats did anyone at CA look at Fawad Ahmed's first class stats in Pakistan before they pulled out the political stops to make him a citizen? Not particularly exciting stuff, if you ask me. As for Agar it would not surprise me if he ends up becoming a halfway decent middle order batsman. Ive seen his technique in the first-class games hes played for WA and he could go far if his passage to Test cricket as a spinner doesnt pan out. Speaking of spinners, where the hell is Steve O'Keefe?
yeah i know, poor guy, it was a good shot too, short but a bit too close, you would think he might have had a bit of luck and found the floor or a gap, but no. didnt play another test! Made a nice sound off the bat too.
