Laura Mary Carter is one guitarist I certainly think needs more recognition. There is something I find interesting about her Telecaster and Marshall sound.

Been into these guys since 'Box Of Secrets' via the song 'ADHD'. Caught them live 3 times now, they are indeed overlooked yet an amazing rock duo/band. Laura is a babe, got looks, talent and can play guitar just great...
Just saw BRS last night, it was an amazing gig, Laura was rocking a Tele AND JCM 2000 with a small Fender tweed-style amp off to the side, maybe a clean/dirty setup? It sounded amazing. !! I have always said a Tele through a Marshall Amp is a thing of beauty
I'm still kicking myself for deciding not to attend their gig here at Mexico City. BRS is such and wodnerful yet overlooked band and Laura's riffs are a big reason everyone should check them more.often. 🤟

My current guitar crush, so it’s lovely to see her featured here. However much BRS evolves, she has her own sound and a such great ear for a riff. Would love to see her do a rig rundown…
thanks for the showcase, although it could've been a more detailed tech-wise. I'm a BRS fan since their very first debut album tour in 2008. In 2009 I saw brody dalle with her project spinnerette and ultimately bought the same guitar brody was using during that time and from that day on I also started to learn the entire discography of BRS on my new tele. Met them multiple times, Laura is such a sweetheart and very humble while having the thickest sound you can imagine. Love the simplicity of her guitar melodies, easy to learn but rich in sound. Its very hard to copy it, she always comes up with new inspirations with every new record. And guys look at her style and outfit, she's just amazing!

Laura's the reason I use a Marshal Guv'nor and bought a Marshal amp years ago so it's good to see her and Blood Red Shoes get some recognition here!

She better always be on the lookout for another amp that sounds the same just for backup. I've know quite a few people who've had equipment stolen or destroyed and had to play with replacements they didn't like.
