    A small typo: Object Oriented Design Interview should be abbreviated as OOD, not ODD.

    IMO, something went wrong somewhere...
    Instead of spending priceless life for becoming a better specialist we spend it for becoming a toy which an employer would like to play with.
    Thanks for the video!

      Is it worth to take educative io subscription

    • @theintjengineer
      @theintjengineer 7 місяців тому

      @@focusedSoul5, in my opinion it's the best out there in that area, after O'Reilly [but that's because O'Reilly is just too good haha]
      So, Educative is totally worth it.
      Just make sure you go through the trial first, before committing.
      They don't have Videos. It's more Text, Graphics/Animations. So, if you're a video person, you should probably try O'Reilly.
      Or Coursera, or select Udemy Courses, etc.

    I am always curious …
    Most the system design interview resource seems focused on “web dev” related, but what if I may want to get the job that is just for a “desktop application”?
    Is there any “desktop app” system interview resource?

    • @Dom-zy1qy
      @Dom-zy1qy 7 місяців тому +1

      Study normal DS&A problems for that. Learn a desktop app framework. While developing complex desktop apps you'll get better at software architecture which is kind of similar to the method of thinking required by system design interviews

    I refuse to ever do any leet code. It is so profoundly dumb and useless, and reflects nothing about the actual skills of the programmer. Thankfully it is not used that much in my country.

      I hate it, but sometimes it's a good reminder to get those brain juices flowing. I think it's a great exercise as a developer every now and again. I hate that it's the bar for developers in the US to get a job.
