Mbplayerone : It will only end Spencer Rattler's future with the Saints. If Rattler is released by the Saints, I guarantee you, he will be picked up by another NFL team with the quickness, and they will develop him into the great QB he has the potential to be. The problem with the Saints and the fans is we want to win now. That's why they over paid Derek Carr $150 million, looking for the next Drew Brees. The Drew Brees, Sean Payton era is over. We must rebuild, we will lose games, which we are doing now, but we will be building for the FUTURE. Unless the Saints are going to bring in a lot of veteran free agents, and that cost a lot of money. Just Saying.
I think Rattler did a fantastic job. That two point conversion attempt was actually a pretty good throw. It went off Johnson’s hands. Should have caught it in my opinion. Hits the hands should be caught.
I need rattler to start for the saints next season, no reason to keep Derek Carr when he's clearly hit his ceiling, Rattle has potential man i need to see it and get Carr's contract off our hands
I wasn't impressed when Haener came in when Rattler got benched and he started moving the ball. Same as a 46% completion percentage doesn't mean anything.
i actually see a LOT of potential in Spencer. the dude need more snaps and for a rook, he played with a lot of spunk and given time to learn, he should be a winner. what id like to see is in the next 2 drafts, the saints go all out building up their offensive and defensive line. our corners are good enough but we definitely need more beef on that d. also find a big and fast linebacker bc demario might be getting close to the end of the road. i love DD but he cant play forever. Pete W is good but he lack size so if im a scout, id look for the 3 S's.. its smarts, size, and speed.. all in that order.
That final throw was a good decision and a good pass. He didn’t go to Johnson earlier because the boundary corner had his eyes in the backfield and when he let it rip to Johnson it hit him in the hands and as is typical for him he dropped it. That’s a really good play for Rattler given everything going on there. I personally didn’t like the idea of shrinking the field in half and making it easier on the defense in that situation.
this guy knows ball nice to see finally someone with ball knowledge. not saying this channel don’t love the analysis just at the end their kind of ticky tacky. i personally agree with your assessment
I know there is an edit in the video, but I wanna clarify that number 11 is Cedrick Wilson Jr, not MVS. Cedrick Wilson Jr threw the first TD pass of the game
Bro. If the Saints don't have anything or see anything in Spencer Rattler, what do they see in Heaner. I know no one expects Spencer Rattler to beat Green Bay, do they ? When even Derek Carr could not beat Green Bay if he was on the field. On top of that, Rattler is playing with a second and third string offense on the field. If Spencer Rattler and the Saints play a good game, that would be a great. If they were to win, that would be even better. Just Keeping It Real.

You said a key thing on a early play when Rattler was able to scramble and make a play. Carr would have thrown the ball into the stands when he saw pressure. Rattler is your starter. It’s just obvious. I like Carr but he is not the future QB for this team unfortunate but true
In that long pass to CVS, the safety took the wrong angle. He could have easily intercepted it if he’d taken the right angle or go for the hit if he wanted to. And had Carr thrown that y’all would be complaining about “hospital” balls.
I know right? 😂 everyone is biased to the qb they like. It really wasn’t a great decision at all but cuz he caught it he is a god! Lmao people are dumb. And Carr gets so much flack for nothing in my opinion
@ Yep. They are so overly critical of Carr. I am 60 years old and have never heard the term “hospital ball” until last year. Receivers have been getting hurt for decades. Quarterbacks don’t always make the perfect throws. In the beginning of the season last year, that cancer MT told Carr that he loves those contested catches. Then all of a sudden he turns on him and starts tweeting against his own quarterbacks during a game. That has probably never happened in NFL history. And these silly fans take up for the cancer instead of Carr.
@@pbm8264 and then if rattler struggles it’s oh he’s a rookie, oh he doesn’t have his receivers or whatever it may have been. Don’t get me wrong I would love for him to be good but the hate that Carr gets is crazy to me. Is he the best qb? No but the dude was also playing with bum receivers and no oline and he threw what 1 interception since coming back from injury? But if Spencer rattler throws a pic on it happens he’s a rookie 😂
@@Whodat-rs4ht Yep. And just look at last year. They had the worst offensive line performance for the first 6 weeks in NFL history and they didn’t get much better after that, receivers lost in space for half the year, no running game to speak of, a cancer in the receiving core, the worst OC in the NFL, a running defense that you can run a Mack truck through and a passing defense giving up big plays all year. And yet Carr still rallied this team to move the offense from 22 the previous year to 9, they finished the season as the hottest red zone team and Carr ranked #1 quarterback for the last 6 weeks. They say Carr needs everything perfect and cannot elevate a team. A “mid to trash” quarterback like they claim Carr is would have won maybe 5 games last year with that Saints team. How come I have never heard a podcaster say this? Can people even think for themselves any more or do they just go along with the groupthink?
he shouldn't be at a 45 degree angle at the end of every drop back makes the de get easy pressure he's not stepping up and avoiding anything he dropped way too Farr back just like previous games where he slipped a few times saints coaches suck its an easy correction there's talent there
Spencer is still raw but he's got the makings of an exceptional qb. The Saints next head coach pick is going to determine his future.
Great take

No one can deny, Rattler has something.
How does he simultaneously have better pocket presence and scrambling than carr
“Congested” “little bit of a bad throw” the ball hit the guy in the hands we’ve seen Juwan Johnson catch harder passes than that
Get Rattler some good offensive linemen and some more weapons and a good offensive coordinator and there you have it.
So they just need like 7 new guys and a different OC for him to be successful. Got it. 😂
@@BeauTylerMakesMusicwe need that no matter what. We have one of the weakest/oldest rosters in the league
And a full off-season, I like the potential. I think Rizzi would be a nice pair. Maybe a new OC? Idk Kubiak is suspect imo

If carr had those he'd be all pro .what makes a great qb like Brees or Brady is they can win with just garbage
Love this guy. He's a rookie competing with seasoned QBs.
Spencer's first 3 games were up against really good defenses especially the secondaries in bucs, broncos and chargers but he showed good things
