I have been bugging the developer of Ujam to develop a heavier version of Iron. Iron is just not heavy enough. Reason Users don't really have access to a modern metal sound in a Library. He says he will consider it but if it's done it won't be anytime soon. If there's three things Reason really needs is an Ozone type effect, an ezdrummer live drum sound instrument and a modern heavy guitar instrument Library.
The Riffs were not heavy enough for me. The guitars need to be down tuned more. The Library has a very eighties feel to it but more modern metal uses lower tunings and I am not talking extreme metal like Death Metal or anything like that. The riffs just seem weak somehow. Maybe its the settings and not the tunings but no matter what I did with it I wasn't getting a truly heavy tone.
It’s fine for working away in the background. No one would want to bring this to the front of a mix, unless there was some read guitar working to support.

can you not just apply more FX outside of the plugin? or is it the RIFFS that are not heavy enough for you?
