this is literally perfect!!! just needs a basement and the garage detached and this is my future home
Love it! I’m so picky when I look at home plans. I always want to change a bunch of stuff. In this house I would only change a few. I don’t like a microwave down low so I’d move it to a wall. I would like a workshop so I would probably have to put a wall up in the garage and take one of the bays for that. Both simple fixes. I normally want a full basement, but this house is so big already that maybe I would only need a very small one for a gym area and craft room. Everything else I need is already upstairs. Fabulous!!!!

What a beautiful home. My only complaint is the beams in the Livingroom/kitchen area. I would have chosen a more flattering color to compliment the open floor concept.

karlean moss queen its all the white. Walls, furniture kitchen . Everything looks so cold and institutional when everything is white. A little paint of so e earth to e colors would tie in the dark beams and make it look more cozy and inviting.

The cost to build varies based on location, so it's impossible for us to make an accurate guess (median cost from our free estimate currently ranges from about $421k in the South to $658k in the Northeast (without the lot) but different markets in these regions would yield very different prices). Opting for more walls rather than windows/doors is an easy one, so long as you still meet egress requirements in bedrooms. We can always make such mods for you, or help you find a plan that better fits your requirements from the start.
What is the exterior color scheme?
Hi Willie! We don't have information about the specific product colors (roofing, siding, stone, etc.), but if you ask suppliers for medium gray to brown-gray, you should be able to find something similar.

Hi Frank! I assume you're looking at the surroundings and considering wildfires? There are many roofing materials that come with a Class A fire rating these days, including plenty of shingle-look options. While I can't speak to the specifics of this particular house, it does look like it was outfitting with asphalt shingles, which would stand up to fire as well as other environmental challenges. That said, metal would also make a wonderful choice now that it comes in more shingle-look profiles and colors to address traditional aesthetics.
Where are the eco-friendly features? Marble countertops are outdated.
Hi J H! I can't say for certain what was used in this house, but marble countertops are still being specified in plenty of new homes. If you like this look but don't want natural stone slabs, you can find plenty of marble- and granite-look quartz countertops available from brands like Cambria, HanStone, and Wilsonart. They have a smaller environmental impact yet still deliver the look so many homeowners love.

Not a Craftsman home. A modern home with a few tips if the hat to Craftsman elements. Where's the millwork: built ins, beams wainscotting, pillars? Where are the art glass lanterns and sconces? Where's the Craftsman color palette? Where are the decorative tiles? If I paid you, I would demand those things in the home you build and go elsewhere when you couldn't provide them.
