Bloody Angel, Going Hunting or Let It Burn. If you're a fan of Slipknot, they have a secret hidden in 'A Secret Door'. Corey Taylor joined them in studio and whistled the melody for them
The big hits that most people see first are Bloody Angel and The Eagle Has Landed. Both have cool videos but I would also always recommend checking out this band's live performances bc they are one of the best live bands I've ever seen
They formed in Gothenburg, Sweden. That's really all I know about them. But I can tell you that all of their music is amazing! You should check out "Bloody Angel" next. It's about a N*zi officer who was in charge of "Doing the deed" if you will. But he hates what he has done. Feeling the souls of those he killed haunting him, he calls upon the Bloody Angel to take his soul Also, side note: I saw them live in 2021 and they sound almost exactly the same as they do in the studio, which I think is amazing!
nazi, just say nazi, dont censor it, censoring what people say was what the nazis enjoyed doing, as my grandfather used to say "own history, the good, bad ugly, and fucked up, own it all, because whats done is done"
My wife is not into metal at all, was not, she likes rock but not anything where the words cant be understood. I got her to listen to The King welcomes you To Avatar Country, and she loved the song, and she eventually enjoyed all the songs. We went to one of the dates for the last tour and the show was amazing, they're a great band, great group of people that produce their own videos, put out their own records, own their own label. They're truly bare knuckle. Chimp moshpit is a good newer one with great effects. Their Metal Oddysey Mini movie is also worth checking out. They're fantastic entertainers!
Check out songs like: - The eagle has landed - Bloody Angel - Black Waltz - Torn Apart - Tower - A Statue of the King - A secret door - Dance Devil Dance Not necessarily in this order, but it's a rough crosscut throughout their music :)
Black and white also Smells like a Freakshow, King's Harvest, Barren Cloth Mother and Going Hunting. 😍😍😍 Johannes took many of his stage moves from silent films and is a fan of them. Have you noticed any small references to the biblical Apocalypse? "Colorful" figurines of horses on the table (Plague, War, Famine and Death) and trumpets (angelic, seven), appearing from the barrel organ. By the way. barrel organ was built by hands of Henrik and Jonas and painted by Tim. Also the stage was build hands of the band.)) They're nice carpenters. Champagne was real and actors was happy.🍾 💑 And it was half of a budget.😅 Director Johan Carlen (sixth of Avatar) did a great job.) The three figures from the coffin are the bass player Henrik.) The video was supposed to be a sequel to the Smеlls like а Freakshow with the same characters. Also they have the song Pupper Show - and in barrel organ guess what?)) And a reference to the song you seen in A Statue of the King. The song is written by guitarist Tim (without dreadlocks), and he has the same tattoo on his leg.))) Vinnie Paul also told Tim that Dimebag would like the main riff! Clip scened in the middle of February 2014. To optimize the budget shot in a large garage without heat. (From Johan Carlen's Facebook) Check out Dance Devil Dance, New Land, One More Hill, Regret/House of Eternal Hunt, please.
Fun Fact: Johannes (the vocalist) was asked on Twitter, "What's this song about?" His answer, deftly combining Deadpan Snarker and Ask A Stupid Question: "It's about the apocalypse and a guy who's hailing it."
Very underrated this year i will have seen these guys 4 times. They blow the roof off every single time high energy performances they’re edgy but they’re not serious. Its a circus vibe. They are in my opinion far better live than just listening to them. My recommendation is to go all the way back to self titled which is their third album and listen to all of it since. On their Avatar Country album, they have a short film. Which is a concept album. I will say im not too big on their post covid albums. But good songs on those (Hunter Gatherer) Colossus, Justice, Child (Dance Devil Dance)
AVATAR is the best band I love them. If you ever get the chance to go see them live I highly recommend that you buy tickets and go. You won't be disappointed
Glad to hear the Wednesday 13 comparison Avatar is pretty much the only notable band these guys have been in. They’ve been around for quite a while and they’re all mid-late 30s. Let It Burn and Paint Me Red are some of the most notable songs before this album. Their new album, Dance Devil Dance is killer though.
everyone has recommended excellent songs and I agree with them all, but may I suggest please Regret/House of Eternal Hunt, live from their Ages show (livestream during the pandemic)
*These are new for me* What song should I check out next?

Same with colossus Corey does the back ground screaming. Should also do the dirt I’m buried in

Paint Me Red and Colossus! This two made me an avatar superfan! Listen to them, you will not regret it \m/
Very rare that I'd choose a live version over the official video. This is one. Saw it personally a few years ago and was blown away

Hi there Ness!! Great recommendation. I'd throw in Black Waltz & Napalm.
Oh gosh Napalm for sure, especially the official live @@crystalrainfeather
Very UNDERRATED they're from Sweden... and very bad ass.
Just met them this summer with ice nine kills! They r amazing!
Great music and they don't take themselves too seriously - kind of like Mastodon that way. Amazing band and even better live.
Smells like a Freak Show, Murderer, Torn Apart and Let it Burn
Wormhole live goes crazy, a secret door has a great music video
Avatar is awesome.
Bloody Angel, murderer, tsar bomba, Colossus
