  • Holy Monastery of the Holy Apostles in Capernaum Episode 64 IOANNIS NIKOLAOU
Holy Land: Where the Lord's immaculate feet stood
👉And in this episode we are in Capernaum. We are talking about the historic Monastery of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul which belongs to the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem. On the site of the Holy Monastery was the house where, while Our Lord Jesus Christ was teaching and a multitude of people were in and out of it, they brought a paralytic to heal him. But because they could not approach the place where Christ was, they went up to the roof of the house, broke it down, and from there they brought down the paralytic before the feet of Jesus, and He healed him.
🎙️Σε this episode we have with us the Holy Monk of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem and the Custodian of the Holy Monastery of the Holy Apostles in Capernaum, His Holiness the Monk Fr.

💡We always keep our travel documents (passport and visa to enter Israel) with us and in a safe place because there are periodic checks. It is advisable to carry with us, especially if we are there in summer, bottled water and a hat. Face cream with a high protection factor to avoid burns. Sports shoes and a walking stick for support would help.
📣At all the Holy Shrines under the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem we can communicate with the Fathers in Greek. For our communication with the rest of the world we can communicate in English and of course in Arabic. But there are also many people who know Greek.
