@@giftedgreen2152 I live here full-time, it's not that hot when you live on the beach, which I do. Merida does get hot. Progreso Malecon is north of Merida and is cooler and breezy.
Progreso isn't the most beautiful village in the world that is for sure, but it doesn't look like a bomb went off either. It's about average for a Mexican town.
@@ExpatRebel oxxo bought a home on the malecon and built a convenience store behind it. The house was left to fall apart. That’s how desirable the area is.

Please keep sharing information. I'm considering moving to the area and find your videos very helpful. There seems like a building boom in the area.
Will do! I live here and I have lots of new adventures coming out soon. Join the newsletter at ExpatRebel.com/newsletter for weekly updates.
Thank you for the video. Almost moved there but things didn't work out. Would have loved it.
Progresso is hot as hell and there’s nothing to do but go out to eat.
@@giftedgreen2152 Maybe but it beats the snow and cold
It's a bit hot for about two months and the rest of the year is divine.
@@ExpatRebel stop lying. It’s oppressively hot for 10 months and tolerable for 2.

We love your videos. Thank you! Many blessings to you both.

Thank you so much!
Music is kinda drowning you out
Thanks for the catch. I'll mix down the music better.
Is that in pesos or usd?
Pesos.
To much expensive 😍😂🤣😂😂🤣🤣😂🤣
Yes, it's probably the most expensive place in Progreso.
Progresso looks like a bomb went off.

@@giftedgreen2152 Several falling apart houses are in Progreso. Opportunity for someone to fix up, if they have clear title which may be a problem.
@@ExpatRebel Oxxo doesn’t want that house. They just want to sell Coca Cola and beer. I can’t think of too many worse places to invest than Progresso.
@@giftedgreen2152 I agree about not investing in Progreso. Telchac and some other areas farther out are much better.
