I made one of these and keep it in my pocket book too it's fun and don't scare kids like some of the puppets do.

@SuperClifford22 Make a small cut somewhere unseen and pull out stuffing than glue it back up.

This is late, but you came to mind the other day when i was at the dollar store, bought me a puppy and made a puppet, not as cute as yours but still cute. Thanks, will make some more.

Hi there, glad I came across your channel! I also look for cute stuffed animals to convert to puppets, but so far have not found one as cute as your dog puppet with perfectly placed eyes and mouth, and the eyes show up too! You are so skilled, the dog looks so alive. You are increasing the joy of the universe !!!
I've been searching for a cat stuffed animal to convert, very hard to even find a cat stuffed animal though. Dogs are easier to find.
I made a teddy bear with a moving mouth, using a black (cloth covered) rubber band (as lips) and an invisible string that stretches lower lip downward to open the mouth. It's in my vent lesson video series. I was trying to get around having to cut the mouth and attempt to sew it into a moving mouth. that might be a messy job.

I have a dachshund puppet and I take him everywhere and I at least get 1 person to say omg I that dog was real! Lol

Hi, Stick a sissors point right below the nose (about 1/2 inch) where the mouth would be, than cut sideways to the corner of the mouth, then cut to the other corner. Picture where you want the mouth to be before you cut it. Than lay it on black felt with the mouth open and do a rough trace of the open mouth. Cut it a little bigger for glue. With puppets as small as the one I did you can only fit one finger in it, I will try to make a video that explains it from start to finish in the next week.
