That 1st floor theme is just depressing as sh*t. Clearing all infected and realizing they were human too, just trying to survive the oncoming apocalypse due to the GREs ambitions … and look where that got them 🫠
I’m always hearing some complex form of hope in the first floor theme, maybe it’s because the thv genmod is just there and it’s supposed to be a cure but there’s no one left to proceed with the research. According to Katsumi, it was nearly finished. Maybe this exact column with the yellow substance inside, strong enough to still be actively reacting, could have been the answer, yet everyone capable to finalise it either were executed or have turned long ago, slain by you and now lying truly dead just near the thing that could’ve saved the humanity

The chorus makes you wonder what ungodly experiments the GRE conducted here. The horrors of the hospital is not for the faint hearted. Yet you press on, reluctantly, because there is simply no going back. 2:57 Floor Three: You made it. Now you’ve seen the stories of innocent people caught in between the GRE’s greed and the wrath of THV. You’ve seen the cages they’ve been kept in to experiment on like lab monkeys. Just normal people who wanted to survive the fall, but couldn’t. The same building that was once a functioning part of the city is now a cemetery for the tainted.

Floor 2 is by far my favorite soundtrack in the GRE hospital.
Floor 1 ost feels like the World completly Ended and there's no hope for any help or return
Floor 1 really gives a strong hopelessness vibe

Floor 2 is just so good, so many feelings and thoughts, same with floor 1
