I really hope meng makes more car kits! I was very skeptical of their kit until I saw this video. It seems their first auto kit is better than companies that have been producing car kits for 40 years
PRO TIP: Put a piece of black felt behind the object you want it to focus on. It will help the camera focus on the desired object. When you have a piece just floating in the air in front of the lense the camera isnt smart enough to focus on that piece. It picks up everything behind it too.
There have been very few automotive kits that feature opening doors. Most overseas kits (Fujimi, Aoshima, Tamiya, etc) don't even feature engines and are purely curbside.
Like a lot of guys I wish Meng would produce more civilian models. The do have a Jeep and a Humvee but I would like other quality kits. Also the now make this in 1/35 like most of their other kits. Too bad they don't re-release this 1/24 version. Its getting hard and expensive to find. I built two of these and would like to build another one. The first was a stock with a black pearl paint job (House if Kolor auto paint). The second one was a contractor's version scuffed up with a scratch built ladder rack over the truck bed with ladders etc. Painted in a dark red by Gravity Colors. Not a normal color for a working truck, but white is too boring. My third will be a jacked up off road with large tires etc. Not sure of color. Maybe a blue candy.

What a great looking kit, very detailed, more than I would have thought....
missed my chance to pick this up, this is 500$ kit now
I own a real 2010 Ford F-350. I can say this kit is very realistic.

I will try that thanks!
No problem.
