reminds me of wotlk times where I would go to lower level zones and ask lowbies if they are being harassed by max levels and just do some cleanups. good times...
that's how wow was being played, not everyone was competitive tryhard... People like to chill and find their own amusement... I remember in TBC I used to gank low lvls because as I kid I role-played that I am bounty hunter shadow troll lol... Even before all that roleplay stuff on internet, I did not know what that means, but I had fun in my own ways.... I also remember getting to 70lvl and collecting those sigils from blood elfs in outland and returning them to shattrath for reputation, not because of rewards and progress, but because it felt meaningful to do as I am helping my faction lol.... This is how kids used to play... Those that were little older and more competitive in nature, did not experience MMOs the way kids did and that's a fact, now who had more fun is debatable, but I would say those casuals had more relaxing experience and overall grew up to be much healthier in mind when it comes to gaming.
