💑 About Hercules Candy
Hercules Candy has been on Steve’s side of the family since 1910(ish). When he took over in the 70’s, he anticipated after 10 years of hard work, he could move the business out of the basement and into a real storefront. Unfortunately, it took until 2018 for that to happen, but hey at least it happened! Steve and Terry own the shop, Craig (the social media manager) is their son, Cara (wrapper and shipper extraordinaire who is poised to take over the shop one day) is their daughter and Leah (who doesn’t love being on camera and is very elusive) is their oldest daughter. Soggy vs crispy - depends on the cereal. I actually like soggy raisin bran/bran flakes and shredded wheat (almost impossible to eat crispy shredded wheat unless you eat the mini squares), but I prefer almost all others to be as-crispy-as-possible.

I'd mix the crumbs and leftover marshmallow with chocolate to make cups or bars (like cereal clusters). Those would be delicious, especially if there's bits of caramel mixed in too.

Scott, you're on to something there. There is a very specific point where it's just soggy enough but still has a solid crunch to it. I usually gotta mix the bowl of cereal and almond milk (I'm lactose intolerant...😢) to about the count of seven, then I start MOWING that cereal down!
Cooper: " was that my idea?"

These are what I made back when you started doing Smores bark. I didn't put any caramel in, just golden grahams marshmallows and chocolate. They turned out quite good but kind of overly sweet with the marshmallows. Though I just poured everything in the bowl with the melted chocolate and spooned it out with a tablespoon. Messy shapes but so good.

I love saturated slightly soggy cereal. I mainly get cocoa puffs or cinnamon toast crunch so the more soggy it gets the better the milk is at the end

What about a s’mores marshmallow crème? Use a marshmallow crème flavored center. Place a golden Graham on the bottom of the crème when it’s warm. Then enrobe it all in chocolate with a salted caramel drizzle on top…

*You need to keep a few potatoes around, because when you get a burn like that, and put a nice slice of potato on it, it pulls the burn fluids out of the burn and it won't blister so badly and sometimes not at all, and it heals faster. You have to keep the potato fresh, so it may take a couple slices to work, it also takes the hurt away. But you have to do it right away. If it's a really severe burn and bleeding please go to emergency though.

For the burn like that put salt over it and the next no more burn. Little explanation, salt will get de water from the wound without break the skin and that’s voilà. Mix the salt with a little bit of water make a kind of past and put it in the burn skin.

if you are going to cut them with the round things why put dollps of caramel. Just fill the tray with graham cereal and marshmallow and then cut with the cutter, you can get closer, and less waste or, less cramming everything in the cutter
I’ll have my cereal crunchy! No soggy for me….. also, if the Hercules crew keep makin all these irresistible treats, my bank account will go dry! Got both my 16 ounce super sour hard candy bags, and just about polished one off! My other order has been shipped, and NOW Coop is makin these treats!

Lavender essential oil for burns! It takes the sting right out of it. Reapply when pain begins to return. 🌿 We keep a bottle in the kitchen for those times your skin gets a little too close to a heat source.
Collect the leftover cashews and grahms and mix em. Add more marshmallows, caramel and enrobe those... mmmmm
Wouldn’t it be easier to start with a blob of caramel first, then stick a handful of Golden Grahams and some marshmallows to the top of the blob?
I'm gonna get some graham crackers, marshmallows, and chocolate, temper the chocolate, and make some s'mores bark. For science.

I mix all the cereal into the milk before I eat it. I eat it fast enough to not get real soggy, but it does get a little soggy by the end.
I feel like this should be done like the brittles then cut it out later with the rally cutter then dip the pieces in chocolate. , but looks amazing

Are you able to have a wooden/cylinder object you can push into the metal turtle cutter. Cooper mentioned his thumbs get sore pushing the leftovers into the circle. There must be something to help smooth that last part of that process out. Love the videos
Love soggy cereal but it always depends on type. Coco Puffs and Corn Pops love soggy!
I never ate cereal with milk until a couple years ago. I'm in my 50s! I think I finally started when I ran out of yogurt for this fantastic chocolate peanut butter granola I was eating, so I used almond milk and it was delicious. I still don't like soggy cereal, though.
I like soggy cornflakes for some reason, but crunchy cheerios. And sometimes I like the bottom to be soggy and top to be crunchy 😅😁
Hint: If you set the scales to grams and then look up the national units, you'll get nicer measurements.
I keep the box open and add a little at a time so every bit is perfect lol

You can keep your Carmel soft by putting the bowl on a heating pad.

paused at 21:17, instead of using just a metal circle cookie cutter to form the patties of the excess mix, use a hamburger patty smasher, it comes with a top that you can smash down and save your thumbs!

I was wondering the same thing, but my guess is they commit to a vegan diet but do taste tests to ensure the flavors are what they want, since they are the owners.
Proper preparation prevents p*ss poor performance.

Should make vegan and maybe even vegan sugar free ones, making coconut cream caramels with alternative sweetener in place of sugar, maybe mixed with a little coconut sugar, as a better alternative for vegans, diabetics and vegan diabetics! Then use vegan mini marshmallows or chopped up vegan marshmallows as well as vegan chocolate, of course, vegan choco with coconut cream to make it milk chocolatey… Yuuuuuummy! 😋☺️🤗💓

caramel on cereal then add marshmellows ..caramel sticks to cereal and marshmellows stick to caramel less marshmellow waste
