Yeah, you're right. Unfortunately every fan loves Sans. I always think why they don't do something for others. And o don't like sans very much, they are just normal like everybody else, they are all perfect.
i mean last breath is just sans, sans being saved by gaster and ending up on 0.0001 hp and sans literally being dead. it's not really sans persisting after death at the end more like gaster trying to carry out sans' last plan (to make the human give up) with his body
well technically speaking, we don't know if sans dies at the end of genocide route, be cause it makes the same sound when u spare or end a fight, and sans also walks off screen, and sans looks identical to his undertale self in deltarune, so technically its not stated hes dead but its not stated he was alive either, but i don't think he can do what undyne pulled off the same way. undyne = S+ and Sans = S+

I imagine at her final attack, we see a little animation where her monster soul turns yellow, and turns up forming a human soul to showcase that she has managed to become as determined as a human. She then holds a yellow save point light in her hand, and then throws it into the distance starting a sequence where your and Undyne souls try to reach the save button, showcasing that both of your determination, and therefore control over the resets are matched instead of one over the other. Eventually, Frisk manages to reach it which results in a bright light resembling when you close a fountain in Deltarune. Without the player input, Frisk starts attacking Undyne over and over again while she tries to regenerate again and again, forming a bleeding atrocity that tries to form a powerful spear with such determination that it becomes truly physical. But before she is able to throw it Frisk cuts her arm off, killing her. After dying Undyne blood turns into dust but her body melts and then pretrifies with some resemblace of a bone structure alongside her battle wounds, since her determination was of such strenght that she managed to almost become as physical as a human. (Explaining how she managed to bleed) You gain the "Determined Spear".
