After spending more time on the 24 YZ450FX I decided to see if I'm faster on the YZ or my modded KTM 23 350 XCF. #dirtbike #yamaha #ktm #racing #dji #motocross
I've owned several 2t's as well as several Yamaha YZ450FXs with the most recent one being a 2020 and I can say hands down the best bike I've ever owned is my 2024 350XC-F. The last 300 I had was a 2024 TX300 and this 350 is just easier to ride and IMO less tiring.. To each their own, truth be told they are all sooooooo very good these days.
I can’t argue with your points. In an earlier video I said if I could only have 1 bike it would be a 350. I wouldn’t be angry if mine doesn’t sell. If you get a chance you should throw a leg over the new FX. It’s really good and I’m having a blast riding it. I have the disease of, what’s next. 😕
Great comparison! I think if you doing 30mins+ that 450 would start to become heavy and you’d be noticeably faster on the 350. Even more so on a smoker. Also that track looks fun. Can you share?
Thanks! I've been down the 2-stroke road already. I started racing on a 2-stroke. I'm consistently faster on 4-strokes. 350/450 I'm sure you're correct but the FX hasn't been as bad as I thought. I've already raced it in a 2-hour hare scramble and a 60 mile enduro. Totally overpowered for my skill level but it's fun! Track is private property.
You had the 250xc tbi 300tbi next. My tx300 just seems to wear me out less than the 4 bangers riding similar terrain / pace Your front tucking & grabbing reminds me of why I can’t stand a firm front tyre / even 10psi 😂 I’m the minority here but soft mousse or low tyre pressure so that front tyre sticks to the ground - but sometimes the rim comes off second best if on a tube 😂
I still haven’t ridden the 300tbi. We’ll see if the 350 sells or not. Then I’ll figure out what’s next. Damn. Yeah, I run 11-12psi up front. Run heavy duty tubes to avoid flats. I’ve thought about trying mousses. I’ve seen too many issues with tubeless.
Sick vid I've been currently riding the new 25 250 FX I put a 7-hour review on my channel it's a pretty dope bike
Thanks. I'll check out your review!

I suffer with that same struggle...
