Charles is the most humble man you’ll ever talk to. He lives in the same condo as my parents just outside of Philly. Talked to him on more than one occasion. He’s not the type to keep it moving if you come correct, just truly a stand up guy. Doesn’t let his celebrity status interfere with him being a genuinely good man to the average joe. He’s as real as they come.

My brother met him at a big and tall clothing store in South Philly (brother was a manager at the store). He said that Barkley was very courteous and nice (he'd actually tipped him after buying some clothes); some fans had asked for Charles' autograph, and my brother had to lay down the law and told them to go outside so that Barkley could shop in peace.
I SERIOUSLY can just listen/watch Barkley talk pretty much about anything ALL day.. This guy is just soo down to earth.

My dad took me to see the Sixers play the Lakers back in 1990. I was only 6 at the time. We sat with our backs to the wall. Last row in the Spectrum. But it was awesome to see these living legends battle it out on the court.
Barkley stole the ball for a breakaway dunk with 10 seconds left and put the Sixers in the lead. Lakers called timeout and gave it to Magic for the last shot which he missed. Sixers got the W and after the game Charles and Magic shook hands at center court. Honorable competitors.
