- I attended Tony Curtis's funeral today and here are a few clips from the ceremony. Arnold Schwarzenegger was really funny and so was Jamie Lee Curtis. See if you can spot the celebrities that attended.
I have more video from the funeral. Leave a comment requesting another video upload. If I get enough of them, I'll put up another video. Thanks.
I grew up watching Tony Curtis and I always loved his movies what a great actor and and very funny he is a legend. RIP Tony 🙏☘️
Tony Curtis came to me in spirit, I have no idea why. Aug.21,2020 He showed me that he is not suffering, but rather learning about trusting others to be friends. He hopes people that he knew can learn how to get along and not fight but help one another. Peace ❤️
Did you know Tony?
yeah ..ok. just look at any dead person and you will be taught about "not suffering"🙄
He wanted to tell you 'Yondah lie the castle of my Fodder'.
I remember Tony Curtis.. always running somewhere.. always full of energy.. always talking up a storm.. full of life.. I just couldn't imagine him.. any other way. I just loved Tony Curtis.
Tony was a favorite of mine, he was so lucky to have the life he had. R. I. P. Tony. Gonna miss you.
Tony Curtis was a great actor. He could play any kind of role Thanks for the great performances
One of Hollywood's Greatest!
He lives forever on screen.
Tony Curtis was a great actor and a very handsome man. He may had his ups and downs during his career but he was very talented, they don't make actors like him anymore. God bless him and his family. R.I.P.
my father named me Curtis in honor of his favorite actor Tony Curtis.. May they both rest in peace. Thanks Dad for such as excellent name. I know your looking down and smiling
Wonderful guy, loved him.
Beautiful service. Celebrating Tony Curtis life! Funerals shouldn't be mournful. He will be missed.
My Dear friend Maria Sach..knew him before he was Tony Curtis, one of my favorite actors. GODBLESS you and may you rest in peace
Of all the men and women actors and actresses, he sold my heart, from age 13 still, now. I'm 59 years old now. I love you tony
Fascinating, thanks for sharing. Tony seemed such a lovely guy and a top actor.
Mr. Curtis was a very considerate person to me when serving in the US ARMY. Over the telephone he was similar to his roles on th eSilver Screen.
Iconic actor and marvelus boy friend for many woman....R.I.P. great Tony😔😢💖👍👏
One year before he died, I met him in person for Some Like It Hot screening at the Hollywood Palms and I said to him "You will always be a prince". I am not joking I have his autograph to prove it.
Loved him he was so handsome and so very talented
videoistasteless;
Normally it would but people were hardly grieving here they were celibraiting Tony and his life. and his daughter clearly didn't wanted to be filmed in this video because this wasn't about a "photo op". but to honor her father. Class act. Frankly I think all funerals should be about a celibration rather than just a mournful depressing ritual.
Thank You.
What a great legend he was! And my mother thought he was the most handsome man that ever lived! - Hard to believe this actor is gone.
Paul Hooson Yes My Mother thought he was very handsome and I agree

That was a great post. Not intrusive and very respectfull. It gave us fans a way to see off a fantastic actor and person. Thanks.
I loved Tony Curtis a great actor in the comedic role and as a serious actor. RIP Mr Curtis not many like you.
Oh, thank you for having this on you tube. I don't see anything wrong with having it on here. Tony Curtis was a larger than life performer, and very honest & vocal. Just read his book" American Prince". I own it, have read it through and through and am right now going through it again! When you are a public persona like Tony Curtis, there's nothing wrong with honoring his life. He was in the Navy too, in the 1940s henceforth, the Naval People there too! Anyway read the book folks it's terrific!
Thanks from Hungary, I really appreciate!
thanks for capturing these moments-good job and thanks--he was a very gifted and generous human being ,not only a great actor-his movies went all around the world..so we thank him for some great memories--and to quote the last lines from Houdini 1953--though it never happened that way---i'll be back,i'll be back..!
Tony curtis e stato un meraviglioso artista
Nunca había visto un funeral tan alegre.un verdadero espectaculo
I share Tony's birthday although a few years later, 1967 & across the pond in Bradford, West Yorkshire, England.
I hope his family members read this; you are always in my thoughts. Hope you are ok.
RIP Tony!
Love & best wishes, John Bastow. XXXX
im a june 3rd baby too
Even though he was way before my time he was one of my favorite actors.
Thanks for posting your video.
"Goodnight sweet prince. And flights of angels
sing thee to thy rest."
Requiescat in pace
Goodbye & thanks to a great actor.
Thank You 🖤
All of Tony ' s children had gathered the night before and discussed this service. They chose to honor his life in this way and felt Tony would have loved it. They wanted to make it more of a celebration of his life, rather than a mournful occasion.
as it should be
Catholics to mass
Quel immense acteur qui savait tout jouer et tant d'humour malgré tout ce qu' il à enduré et traversé depuis son enfance. RIP Tony 🕊🕊
Looks like such an average Joe building. I would not have expected that at all.
Did not see many of his movies!
Unfortunately.
But the one book i read (from his hand) was a delight! Took me just a few hours ...
I hope you are with your friends, such as Marilyn, Roger and many others!
GOODBYE AND THANK YOU TO A HANDSOME DEDICATED MAN WHO HAD HIS FUNERAL AS HE WISHED A JOY OF LIFE THANK YOU TONY WE SHALL ALWAYS REMEMBER THOSE FINE AND OFTEN TIMES FUNNY PERFORMANCES
To Tony Curtis farewell.A start to remember🎭
Thanks Toni, you were a great Actor! Rest in Peace!
It sounds like someone added the laugh track from a sit com.
Tony's house in the Anthems is now up for sale.
What is so weird about this service? Who said or where is it written that a funeral service has to be sad and mournful? How do we know what Curtis' wishes were for his service? I am sure there were tears and prayers for Curtis when he died, and now we get to see some laughter from his life. This is in no way disrespectful. I am reminded of what Stan Laurel said about his passing. He said, "If you cry at my funeral, I'll never speak to you again!"
Absolutely. The man had a long, successful career. No need for mourning.
All of his children were together the night before mourning. They all decided what they wanted to to celebrate his life and wanted humor to be a part of it as we thought what he would have wanted. There was plenty of mourning in private.
Dated Tony...we loved each other....miss him so much
I like your photo :) When did you two date?
I dated the volleyball named Wilson from the movie Castaway but Wilson got lost in the ocean and has never been seen since.. 👴👵👮🐒🐒🐵🐵🐴🐴🚻🚻🔜🔜🎑🎑☔☔📱📱🏉🏈🏀⚾🎃🎃🎃🎄🎄🎆🎇🌙🌙🌕🌕🌝🌛🌜🚁🚁🚁🚀🚀🚀🕛🕜🕣🕙🌎🎪🎪
Oh really! Lucky you...
god bless mr tony curtis he was fine actor he was man who loved his family and frends will be missed
Tony Curtis had written several wills excluding his daughter, Jamie Lee Curtis, from participating in his inheritance. When we asked Jamie Lee's publicistf or comment, she snapped at us that the story was "no one's business
Why was she left out of the Will?
Thats not our cup of tea.
She is gifted with beautiness and talent, isn't she?
She has won the Oscar a
few weeks ago, Yeah!!!!!!
Sounds like Swartzenegger's lost his accent. I'm so glad Jamie buried the hatchet with her estranged dad. Tony Curtis...great actor...great guy. RIP.
Great actor one good looking man
Un enorme comediante!!
so quiet, so silent , for a man so active and happy living!
לעילוי נשמת ברנרד שוורץ
Bye Tony!! I will remember you always.
Tony Curtis was the most underrated best actor around!
Well, for one thing he never won an Oscar, and was regarded by the 'mainstream' Hollywood folks as just being a 'pretty boy'. The exception being Burt Lancaster and Kirk Douglas who saw his great acting skills.
Robert Haarlem Unless you are trying to be funny, which is OK, George C Scott played Patton in the movie 'Patton'. :-)
He should have won an Oscar for 'The Defiant Ones' or 'The Boston Strangler' or for 'Some like it hot'.
Robert Haarlem Hi Robert, On your site I see that you like Marilyn. Check this out for fun:

Robert Haarlem It is easy, all you have to do is start. Then paint or draw in YOUR style, meaning do not to compare Your art with anyone elses. Have fun. :-)
Excellent ! I hope to see your first art work soon. :-)
Awesome actor, awesome man. Deserved better!
Tony Curtis's portrayal of Albert DeSalvo touched me. I came to the realization that we Human Beings are complex and may not always be aware of our behavior. May he rest in Peace.
how sad that he died, i grew up watching tony curtis movies, i used to love him in some like it hot & the great race. He was very talented & very handsome. rip tony & condolensences to the curtis family.
poor Jamie...I'd be a mess if I had to stand RIGHT THERE..how sad.
Beautiful man.
Well, now you can believe it!
Maybe the video speeches were cut out becuase of the limit of battery time. Also I find nothing tastless about this. Tony Curtis was a public figure, and this a a chance for the public to view his funeral service. What's wrong with that?
His DOUGHTER has won an Oscar too, congratulations!!!!!!!!
There were a few hundred people outside.
r.i.p tony Curtis an acting legend....
I love his movies Boeing, boeing, marilyn monroe movie etc etc, he lives forever on UA-cam, DVDs, internet, etc etc
RIP Tony Curtis
I have the movie of Tarzan in Ma asnhattan with him and joe Lara and it was good Anything with Tony curtis is good.
He changed wife with the speed at which one changes the toilet paper roll: great actor poor man
Tony Curtis!
they don't make them like that anymore. God bless tony.
トニーカーティスさん、大好き
I am so glad I found this on line. I loved his film "bad news bears go to japan" for it was a film from my childhood and holds special memories for me - R.I.P.
RIP Tony
I remember when he was on the set for the Trapeze movie and a giant queen ant showed him how to swing and jump.. 🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜👑👸🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜🐜🐒🐵👴👴👴🐴🐴🚻
Its kinda sad that even at a funeral...Arnold can't stop talking about himself. What an Ego.
Sad..a small turn out for Mr. Curtis.
You're welcome.
❤️❤️❤️😪😪😪😪

Some crazy ass people.
Very nice to see, I think many fans like myself would find this interesting to watch, another legend lost, they don't make them like that anymore, most actors are like fast food nowadays,
God Bless you Tony
great actor I guess this is the way they have funerals now
May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him!
El respeto ,es algo que desconoce esta gente ,aplausos como en un teatro ,y risas por doquier ,una payasada .
3.04, are we drinking?
Guy with that cowboy hat shoulda removed it.....Great service. It's obviously what his family thought he would want.
I agree. A gentleman removes his hat indoors.
that was me with hat... and it was one of TONYs
Made Some Great Films...Some like it hot and Taras Bulba for Starters.
Zclapping at the funeral?
I didn't know he passed away. I guess I will get to meet my favorite actor in the after life.
he must have been a veteran
Navy 21 gun salute
It's sad that by the time Tony Curtis finally married the right woman he passed away a short time later. Rest in peace, Tony.
Nobody could know, that He would have to leave before her!
Iwould hope that his children from his second marriage to the beautiful German actress were also acknowledged. Believe he had four daughters, Jamie, her sister, Allegra and Alexandria.
Yes, they chose not to speak but were indeed there and recognized as well as his grand children
Unbelievable!!! A funeral with a body present and the speakers making fun of it? And relatives and friends laughing out loud? The world has become an asylum with open doors...
Re: Tony Curtis Funeral. David, I happen to be friends with family members and they were fully aware of what I was doing.
God bless Tony Curtis, I'm glad he got clean and sober before he passed. I hope you had a relationship with the father the Son and the Holy Ghost. God bless Tony
Really inappropriate
Was this a funeral wake or comedy show and didn't even open the coffin to see him
Vincent Ferrigno you idiot..........SOMETIMES THEY JUST LOOK AT HIM, SAY GOODBYE DAD, ETC ALONE..........AS I DID TO MY OWN DAD AT 18......then they closed the casket...then they took it inside........................................................
It's heartbreaking to see someone you loved lay there...so its not always wise to keep it open for the world and cameras to see..........VINNIE
+Vincent Ferrigno I've never seen so much laughing at a viewing, kind of strange. Seems like it was open to the public.
+Vincent Ferrigno He was Jewish. According to the religion the are no open caskets.
keri caye boy do I agree with that! My mom had written instructions that she wanted a closed casket. She didn’t like the thought of people staring at her dead body. We were happy to honor her wishes. When my time comes, I want the same.
The visitation was actually held in another room. His children decided to celebrate his life and thought Tony would have enjoyed the humor. There was also a graveside service that was mournful. With the Navy and a 21 gun salute. There were a couple hundred people there
Your kidding me!?!, what did the family take the money for a proper funeral?? What is this!?! Some old church or synagogue? for the great Tony Curtis?
Brenda Campbell I believe Jewish funerals are simple they do not have flowers or fancy coffins they usually have a more fancy service a year after when they set the headstones . I know when I went to a Jewish funeral I was surprised
I don’t know how many movie stars where there. But it really doesn’t look like a bang up funeral for an actor of his caliber.
Maybe he pissed off some people in his day.
I didn’t know him. But I liked his work.
It's what he wanted.
@videoistasteless - maybe so, but I think he would have liked it. My grandfather was friends with him and he loved being in the spotlight and the center of attention(so I'm told) so maybe it's not a big deal here.
Seems like a Dean Martin roast. Cool.
•••then why did you watch it?
Tony Curtis a demander a avoir son téléphone dans le cercueil.. demande accepter.
Div transid gloria mundi
Yes, Tony always talked about you and how important you were to his family...not an hour went by without your name being brought up.... please repay the monies you borrowed from him to his estate....we think it is about time you paid back what you owe.
Why the sunglasses?
Era un grande Riposa in pace . Ma il suo amico Roger Moore non c'era ?
