Hi Dean. I have passed the ASME GD&T-2009 senior certification exam. They announced the result in email in one day after the exam. Thanks to all your videos. It helped me to understand some really complex concepts.
This very good video brings us back to the basic question of GD&T: What is a feature function? Please, let us always start with an explicit specification of feature functions before we talk about GD&T of a single part.
I watched most of your videos. Great job! Thanks for your effort. I recommend your channel to my teammates in my company. And haircuts are legendary :D If I could suggest a topic for future video, that would be the cones and methods of control. I'd like to see which controls are applicable, which controls are good, which are less good. As far as I understand Total Runout is not allowed on cones since revision 2018, how would you comment that?. How to control coaxiality of cone versus other feature like hole (since Position is not supported on the cones in ASME)? Thanks.

That’s so great to hear! Congratulations!

That's all well and good, but I was kinda hoping I'd get an explanation for the turtle and the rabbit at the bottom of the board :D
Can we change hole scanning direction?! If yes, how to?
