- These DIY picture coasters are fun and easy if you are looking for a personalized gift! This is not a quick project due to the drying time in between the coats of Mod Podge, but it is very simple! If you make this project using my video let me know in the comments below! I hope you enjoy this tutorial!
Supplies Needed:
4 - 4x4 white tiles - (this might not be the exact one I used, but similar) www.homedepot....
4 pictures, size 4x6 (I printed mine in Black and White at Walgreens)
Mod Podge Matte - (You can also find small bottles at the Dollar Tree) www.walmart.co...
Sponge Brush - (You will find this pack in the hardware section at Dollar Tree) www.dollartree...
Isopropyl Alcohol
Rust-oleum Crystal Clear Enamel Spray - www.homedepot....
3/8in Felt Pads - www.homedepot....

People, take note. This is how you make a video. No unnecessary yammering about the project. We'll done, young lady, We'll done!
I just wanted to say Thank You so much for this video. I made a few of these for Christmas gifts. I followed your instructions and they turned out beautiful. Such a neat gift.😊
Great job! I’ve made 2 sets of six and making 8 more sets as gifts! Turned out nice!
Very nice tutorial, thank you so much, the coasters came out great,I like the look of the black and white photos verses the color photos! God bless.😇🙏🏼💕
I would use a small foam roller brush to roll the mod podge on top of the photo; it might eliminate any lines by doing it that way because the foam roller is wider than the entire tile
Thank you for sharing this on here. I am having no ideas until now.
Thank you, Amanda. I just now came upon this video. I've been thinking of adding coaster to my photography artwork. Looks great!
Love this
You can also buy sheets of cork to cut and glue on the back.
Exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!!
NICE!
Thank you for this great tutorial
Ty!!
The Clear enamel spray made all my photos run and ruined them. :( I had the photos developed at CVS. How come it didn't do that on yours?
Did you use the same spray as shown and the video? Also it’s better to do a thin layer of spray.
I laser print my projects vs inkjet.otherwise it smears
They turned out great! I’ll be making some for my mom for Mother’s Day. Can you tell me if a hot coffee cup sticks to the coaster? I’m seen ppl have problems with that before but I haven’t seen the results using that enamel spray! Thank so much for sharing!!
Thank you! I'll be honest, I have not used them for hot drinks! I will test it out and let you know! Thanks for subscribing!
Amanda Kuhlman that would be awesome, i would to know!!! I’d hate to give it to her and by sticking and falling it breaks. thanks again!! Looking forward to more of your vids :)
Amanda Kuhlman what’s the verdict on hot items
There is a 30 day "cure" time for these. It will appear dry in 24hrs....but needs to cure before it can be used for hot cups/mugs.
FYI....This is in reference to Mod Podge application.
Is the enamel spray necessary if you use Mod Podge? What does it do? Thank you.
It’s another layer to seal it plus it brings the shine and contrast back to the image
I am wondering were the photographs pictures on regular printer paper or did you have them printed somewhere? I think I did a project with Modge podge and pictures and it had distorted the picture just wondering
I tried this and my first coat dried but not clear! What did I do wrong?
What kind of paper are u using
I have a very expensive ink well Epson printer. Sometimes the ink smears. Any suggestions?
Hi how are you doing I just subscribed to your channel iam watching your video right now
Which Mod Podge did you use?
how can you remove the pictures of the tiles once they have be on for a while?
Great video! But the music was sad. Made me reflect on regrets for some reason. When it's my time to leave this world, I don't want to go! 😢
good stuff but way too long. It could have been done in 1/4 the time if she wasn't doing 4 coasters and just did demonstrated with 1.
Could have done 1 to show how, half the time.
Nice but too long
