I find that watching different ways to do things gives me a different perspective of learning from another angle. If I have learned nothing else in my life, watch, listen and learn. Take something from every lesson and find your own way with the free knowledge people are willing to share. Thank you for your time producing this video

Fantastic video, I think a good follow up would be to show how it looks when a crew is operating, perhaps a time laps type of thing to show how to deal with issues like crooked logs and big knots and also the general layout of the worksite.
Logs are very heavy so the log moving techniques are also worth a mention.
Great video though, thank you for taking the time to make it

How many times must I do this to get a tight fit?

Also, what size chainsaw would be good for this task?

I have found the more time you spend on your scribing the less time you have spend rolling the log over and correcting any tight areas.

Quite a few, unfortunately. But you'll meet the right one for you one day.

Just watch Alone in the Wilderness featuring Dick Proenekke. It's much better than this.

Where is your axe? Thats how you make a real cabin like the pioneers.
