I have a (will be next year) 6 and 4 year old and I’m trying to decide between Beautiful Feet and FIAR. Do you have recommend one over the other for those ages? Also, like do you think you could use the Beautiful Feet primary for kids in older grades (like 4th, 5th) or would be too simple?
If you like to do crafts, recipes, games, & activities then FIAR has more of that. If you like more of reading, discussion, some drawing then Beautiful Feet has that. BF is more simple, FIAR offers more to do. It all depends what you’re looking for. I would suggest using guides that fit your children’s ages/grade levels.
Thank you so much for sharing this. I am looking for more reviews/ lessons from this curriculum. I have boys too! Is your 4th grader still loving the style and activities from FIAR? Thank you
Yes, we are rowing The Tree Lady this week. We visited Balboa Park last week because its only a few hours away from us, and that made the book come alive. We definitely do not do all of the activities though, because there's so many to choose from.
Yes. That’s a tough question because they’re so different, however, I have never used BF on it’s own. I have always used BF as a supplement because there is not enough faith-based content in it for my liking.
I have used MFW & FIAR at the same time for many various years. This 22-23 school year, we are on a break from MFW because we're studying California State History (where we live). I plan to pick up MFW again next school year.
We are using FIAR as well and love it. Such a hidden gem.
Great video!
Awesome! Thank you. What level are you using?
Wonderful!!!! Thanks so much for sharing Michaela 🥰

@@OfficialHomeschoolGems We are on volume one of the new addition.
We are using volume 1 & 2 this year for 1st grade & loving it! I love the simplicity of it and how seamless the Bible study fits in.
Great review 🎉 thank you so much!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you Michaela! This was such a thorough review!! Super helpful!! 💕
🤗 I’m so glad!

@@OfficialHomeschoolGems Thank you so much! I can’t wait to try it. 🥰
Do you use FIAR alongside Beautiful Feet books? Is there one you prefer using over the other?

I know in the past you have used My Father's World curriculum. Are you still using this along with FIAR?

@@OfficialHomeschoolGems Ok, thank you. I wasn't sure if it was doable to do both programs at the same time. Thanks!
