Gabriel's vocabulary has expanded and he now counts from 1-3 and talks about alligator pie. For those wondering why he says "alligator pie", we've taught him the poem Alligator Pie, written by Canadian poet Dennis Lee (canpoetry.libr.... Gabriel is familiar with all parts but has created his own version.

How old is he

He's about 1.5 years old. He started demonstrating an ability to mimic human speech around 3 months old. I brought him home in August of '21 at 5 weeks (I know it's young but I have prior experience with juveniles). By the end of September he was learning his first words, which were "baby bird" and "Gabriel".
